your paintjob is gonna crack off not to mention the tire choice for a 15 inch wheel is very limited. but in the pictures that you posted of reznuts car  he is running 15 inch wheels which i believe is 9inches wide.

imo hate the cheap wheels, just so tired of seeing everyone around the area getting these wheels it gets on my nerves. but im happy that you're happy.

also the type of tires you use on the stretch make a big difference as some tire distributors make same sizes but the side wall height is not the same on others.

personally toyo proxies stretch more, and have a thinner appearance than any other tires out on the market. or i wouldve actually used a 185-50-15 tire just to drop down the sidewall height. Aside from the tire stretch you also gotta worry about the clearance in the wheel wells, and clearance at the shocks. our cars have limited space, so be prepared to rub on the inside from wheel wells on full turns, and rub in the rear tub on dips. aside from that i hope you make it work on, and good luck

Tue Jul 05, 2011 is the last post i ever did here, thats a little over 4 years ago.

At the end, i had mixed feeling of my Sedan, i wasn't motivated to continiue working on it, my life where a bit stressed out with work and all that kind of shit.
I even thought about selling/parting it at some point, and damn im happy i did not do that.
But, at the end of May, i ended up with a donor/parts car, got it dirt cheap, and there's loads of parts that are close to mint condition, the interior is so and thight. Wich also boosted the motivation for me, a lot! Very Happy

So, just a little over a week ago, i decided to clean out the garage and get back on to the project again, and its a good feeling! Very Happy
It fired up at the first try, like it was started yesterday, no complaints what so ever - wich also gave me a major boost of motivation, as i've had bad feelings for the engine, lol.
Pulled it out, gave it a quick wash/dustoff with the power washer (wich also havent been used for 4 years  Laughing )

I'll probably have to give the paintjob a few more layers though, the red shines through here and there, and we missed a few spots, and in general it just needs to be done better.

Played around with the coilovers this weekend, adjusted some hight, got to try out my friends wheels (15x8 +0 165/45 (sold the XXR's in a desperate need of money)
And this is basicly how it sits now, didnt adjust the hight in the back as we didnt have time to do so that day.

All this got myself motivated even some more, i even bought myself a delayed birthday gift last night!
I allways loved the idea of a slammed sedan with wide 15's, but the roads does simply not allow that here in Norway, so instead of adjusting the coils back up, i decided to buy myself a set of 16x9 +20, wich im planning to wrap with 195/45 Toyo Proxes!
From what i've learned on willitfit.com, im gaining 1-1,5" of hight with the wheels only, wich may just be enough to make it "driveable" Laughing

Anyways, here's the wheels i ended up with, and im really excited to see the fitment of these, but i guess i'll have to wait, as they probably will arrive sometime mid-august.

I'll try my best to keep this thread updated, i wont be just as active as i once was, but i'll give it my best Very Happy

I'm so happy to see you've pulled it out of storage.  Those wheels are going to look great.  Very impressed the motor fired up on the first try.
