So my car has recently been crunching 3rd. When i change from 1st to 2nd it's fine, but when i shift into to 3rd it crunches, I noticed it only happens in higher RPM's. I'm guessing my syncro is worn out. Has anyone else had this problem? advice would greatly appreciated.

Yea same here I have a b16 cable trans happens when I shift fast into 3rd not always tho. Synchros need replacing or  sloppy linkage can sometimes cause that aswell. But in your case I say synchros replace anything u can while ur in there if you plan on takin it apart.

I recently bought the car, i'm guessing it's 10w30 will probably change it to Honda MTF fluid.
