nice ride man.
quick question, when you switched your running lights, have you had any problems with having a ridiculously fast blinker? |

| yeah, the minute i turn the signal on i notice it was blinking fast! does your signal blink together when the headlights are off and they fluctuate left&right when there on? |

correct, about the alternating when the headlights are on.
I was just wondering because it did that on my last car, but i did not have time to figure how to fix it.
so i was hoping you had an answer. |

Did you leave the 1156 bulbs or switch to a 1157 socket?
I have 1157 sockets on my sedan from a 94 integra, and wired the 5watt element to the side marker wiring, so when the turn signal turns on, the running light turns off, so if ether filament burns out, it will still blink. _________________ 1988 VTEC AWD (in the build)

careful with the 1156 bulbs on the bumper lights i seen some wires melt when they are on too long. i went with a 1157 socket in the bumper lights and wire tap to the parking light on the corner lamp so they stay on when the lights are on and they also signal. _________________ WSC#2 |

i got a ticket for modified lights by CHP cause my lights signal fast! By law theres no law stating mount of flashes per min. as long as it flashes. CHP station signed my ticket off my ticket asking what is modified lights. told him its cause they signal fast he said theres no such. few months later i changed it to my stock flasher cause it catches there attention. _________________ WSC#2 |

$10 bucks per sign off. i had over 20 tickets on my ef 4 exhaust tickets 10 ticket for light, crack on window, too low, no front license plate, etc. A shop called auto indulgement sells adjust able flashers they can blink very slow or very very fast $50. on the bumper light dont have to worry about wire melting if you run with the 1157 sockets. you can use relays if you want to run with 1156 if the bumper lights are on the lights signal fast if they are off they signal regular. _________________ WSC#2 |

Maybe bend the clips they go into??
Not sure. . when i had the 88-89 corners, used a dremel to the tabs and got them to line up. . . That was a long time ago. . Not sure how the 90-91's look like or hook up. . . |

ive never seen wires melt, it should be less than 2 amps going through the wire...and the wire is 18AWG. But i have seen the bulb get hot enough to distort the top of the reflector, just above the bulb. Cars that have horizontal always lit lights like that, my example being a 01 eclipse have a metal plate just above the bulb, to disapate the heat. Have had no problem with the dim filament of a 1175 or 2057 bulb melting mine though. _________________ 1988 VTEC AWD (in the build)
