whats up everyone. my name is brett and this is my sedan build. havent posted anything on here before and have never done a build thread. iv been previously building a crx but found some frame issues that pretty much crippled that build for now. i recently picked up this 89 dx for $80 to start over. crx prices have gone up like crazy and iv always wanted to build a sedan. gonna try to keep this updated as much as possible and try to get pics of everything.

how i first saw the sedan before purchasing it. no lights, suspension, or swap. but for 80 bucks i wasnt complaining. he gave me a front end with it also, its just not bolted on.

made the deal and got started on taking stuff off my crx to put on so i could roll it out

and the new heart for it.

having issues loading the rest of the pics so ill try to get those up when i figure out why. but as of now got the car sitting at my parents till i pull the swap. its ready to pull, just waiting to pick up the engine hoist. pulled everything else off it also so hopefully ill be able to swap the cars around this weekend and get started on the sedan.

Good stuff dude!  Nothing beats getting a car for less than $100!

Not really much has been done. Finally had time to get the motor out of my crx. Now just gotta swap the cars around this coming weekend.

Also picked up a few things from the jinkyard I needed on the exterior. also picked up a extra fender and engine harness. All for $60.

@C-Rex  Yeah its all off my crx. I'm putting stock stuff back onto my crx to take it to my parents to store it. The heat here has made it miserable to be outside and after welding all day in it its been hard to have energy to get work done. Hopefully this weekend I'll have the sedan in storage

Yea I was always jealous of you guys getting proper summers with hot weather but there for a few weeks we had temps up around 80F (which is high for us) and I couldnt get motivated to do any work.. Im just happy now as long as it not raining here Laughing

Look like some nice bits coming off the CRX the project should move along fast since youve done it all before

@C-Rex Everyone complains about winter here, and then when summer comes we complain it's too hot lol.

But yeah hopefully everything just transfers over easily. Gotta lengthen my exhaust a little but that's the only real mod I have to do. I'm not gonna worry about wire tucking this one right now.

Same as Ireland so if we cant complain about the weather we are not happy ha

Look forward to seeing updates, will the rear disk setup just bolt straight on or will you need longer handbrake cables?

i used the cables that that came off the integra with it and they fit perfect. They were too long for the crx tho. Other than that, bolts right up.
