I have a few questions on how to install them..
Im a perfectionist.. so I want it to be as close to OEM as possible,
with out getting a new rear bumper from far away, from a car
that had them OEM lol

So I was wondering
What the Measurements are from one to the other, how far there are form the moldings, umm and how far the go from the side

and last what problems will I run into with my USDM bumper support

And I think that is it..  any help would be nice.. pointing to you Jon (The one in FL  Razz )

Have you removed the back bumper yet. . if you got the harness with the fogs, you will see where the harness hooks to the rear bumper.  This is true with the OEM bumper, not aftermarket ones. . .There are two hole in the harness, and two protrusions on the inside of the bumper. This is where the two come together. Put the harness on. . this will give you a good ideas as to where the holes will be. . .

You will need to take the USDM bumper support off with the bumper at the same time. .

There are three screws that you cannot get to. One under each tail light and once centered in the trunk.

There are 2 bolts on each side that you need to remove to take the support off. (get to them from under the car)  Once that is done and you take the two bolts on the wheel well side off. . the thing should just come off. .

Look for those protrusions. . .

Ok my computer is freaking me out since its going so slow at the minute but finally got the pics up and measurments taken..

I put the measurements up in centimeters since thats the best measurement I could get (imperial measurements are lost on me at times Laughing )

I took the number plate surround off so it wouldnt give a bow in the measuring tape so these measurements should be spot on across the bumper..

So here ya go:

-From the inner edge of each fog surround across the bumper its 105.8cm
-From the top of the fog surround to the molding its 0.8cm
-From the outer edge of the fog surround to the front of the bumper its 68cm (this one is a very rough measurement though due to the curve of the front edge of the bumper)

The size of the hole is:
-17.1cm across
-7.15cm high

Pics:

Measurement Pics:

And my poor car at the minute in the pissing rain and bumper less

Hope that helps you any more questions or parts that are not very clear let me know I still have the bumper off..

Paul

Fog light bracket hooks up to the protrusion in this picture.
The protrusion is fairly dirty on this shot, but it is just behind the fog wires shown . .

Thanks C-Rex for doing this.  .it should help Josh out alot!

That pic shows where the the fog bracket holds on mine..

The two circles at the top are nipples that the bracket clips onto and the bottom circle is a kinda groove that holds a the bottom of the bracket..

Pics of that tomorrow or the day after if ya need it..
Do you have any of that kinda stuff on the back of your usdm bumper?

That's what size they wanted to put onto my 14" mr5's. I ended up with 195's but even though i wanted something wider. There was so little to choose from! It was almost 130$ per tyre (without fitment), as apposed to 60-70$ per tyre for 175's/185's...

The metal piece helps secure the lights to the bumper.
So they won't fall out i guess. . .

A Year later, I come to a point, where Im not Dailying the sedan.
So i have time to take the bumper off, and lazily get it apart,
Measure all the blah blah for the cuts.. But there is a problem, how and i going to mount them,
I don't have the lil tabs inside like C does.

How does I mount fogs  Crying or Very sad

Guess I have to go and lurk in the hardware store till i can find something.

Do you have the brackets for the fogs? Is what you need the plastic tabs from the bumper? ....How bout go to the jy and get the tabs from another bumper..?? Then epoxy in place..just a suggestion..
