They probably aren't. When i installed them they were kind of the same crap; Maybe a little brighter, thats all. The black housing was what i was really after, but they came with those pointless angel eyes. If i could do it again, i would buy the lights, crack those suckers open, and remove the angel eye rings. Then they would look hot  Twisted Evil. But to me brightness was about the same. If it's brightnesss your looking for, HID's will get you there, quick!! Cool
