It was the tray section of a ute. Because the front of the car is low, it missed everything and just scraped the ass out of the hood/fender.

The car is booked in for Tuesday. Fingers crossed the new panels' paint matches the rest of the car..... Or i'm going to have to re spray the whole POS. >

at least your state didn't just pass a law banning oil-based paint! my body shop has trouble matching panels now with the water-based system. everything comes out not only mismatched, but with either a greenish or yellowish hue. my buddy that works at the body shop said that if they need to paint a panel, they might have to repaint the whole car!
anyway, i can't wait to see her all patched up! |

Yea, they should be able to match it up well..I mean, you just recently painted the whole thing..Plus it is garage kept..So, the sun probably had not changed it too much...maybe???
