Yea! You can tell that the car has been in like minor rear fender bender and the rear bumper looks a bit pushed in! I'm guessing its stuck to something.

Okay, so that's settled.  We can talk more about your sedan in your thread.

Very cool that you're showing some love to yours!  Can't wait for the next update bud  Very Happy  I forget though, are you leaving the different size wheels/tires?

Well the spray I used on the bare new panels is ok but I want to strip it back again and re-do it in an Etch Primer.. Have been to my local Motor Factors to try and get Upol Acid 8 but it wasnt in stock so waiting on a delivery to come in Rolling Eyes

While waiting on that done a few jobs on my AG Civic and added some new bits and today decided to clear out the shed around the sedan to make working on it easier..

So now have loads of room around it so the arch work should be a bit handier to do when I get the primer. While it was there looking sad for itself all dusty and stuff I decided to give it a clean up and polish. Cant remember the last time it got polished Embarassed

So thats it for now hope to get the primer tomorrow and get stuck into it saturday again.. Next up then will be removing the cracked windscreen and sorting the rust around it, removing and blanking the aerial and make a start on the rear disk swap Cool

The next week should see a nice bit more work hopefully

Found this old thing inside in the shed gathering dust from 4years ago so though I might have a go at fitting it in over the winter:

First thing to do was to get the clutch and flywheel removed to mount it up on the stand, a few bloody knuckles a little swearing and a long extension bar and I was on the way:

Mounted up I already had the crank bolt loosened so took it off and gave a bit of a clean around:

While not ideal I want to use the clutch thats on it already to get it up and running cause I dont want to drop too much money into it straight off so here it was as I found it:

And with a bit of time cleaning it up a bit shiney

Have complete gasket, bearing and seal kit including 81.5mm pistons but think for now Ill just go ahead with working on the head and just give the bottom end a check over until I can afford an overbore etc.. Have a Greddy timing belt too so have a good setup to go onto it..

This week I hope to get the etch primer onto the rear arches if the shop has it in and get the head off the engine to be skimmed so I can go ahead with getting the engine ready Cool

Finally got the etch primer and everything else for finishing off the newly painted bits so will stick in them this week..

In the meantime I started to stirp the 35m Embarassed
Really didnt want to but I wanted so much off it for mine Ill probably just part it out Crying or Very sad

So took all the panels off it today and put it in under a car cover for the moment.. Will be taking the bronze glass out of the doors and going to try and take the front and rear glass out then Shocked

Also just saw this on a local classifieds site and picked it up for €40 delivered, was always mad for the twin Omoris Very Happy

I could swear that some trim levels in the US had chrome door handles already, lol. Do they know it's going to be for a RHD model?

Chrome inner door handles?  If so, yeah all USDM sedans had them.  Exterior, not a chance.

Yea the guy spawn off here is interested in them tild him a fe wthime that they are for a RHD but seems happy with them..

Going into his wagon..

And there seems to be alot higher spec on some parts in the US none of the chrome bits came on EDM models...

Is there chrome surround 90-91 tails on US sedans?

So with work going on right outside the garage, constant rain, Christmas and having the flu all went against progress lately, I finally got it out again and started up today..

A friend of mine is all on for doing the engine swap in the next few days but have to just gather the bits together tidied up and ready to drop in so wont be happening so soon.. Motivation is there though Laughing

Also been looking at front camber adjusters think these are what I will be going for:

CyberSpeeds Front Camber Arms for CRX / 4G Civic:

* Tublar Steel Arms increase strength.
* 5mm Thick Steel Body prevent chance of deformation.
* High quality ball joint design for long term use
* Include "Harden Rubber" chassis bushes to replace old on bushes
* All Nuts and Bolt included for installation
* 1 Year warranty

And tyres for the 14x6.5j Equips on the front was thinking of 195/45 Falken Zeix
