I know the feeling.

That does not look BNIB by any stretch of the means.  Sucks it didn't work out but what sucks even more is the situation with the wheels.

Besides that and seeing an unmolested gem of a wago totaled I love the updates  Cool

Well the EQ was brand new, wish I would have gotten a side by side with my other two used EQ's. Other than the metal kind of looking faded, but who knows. And yeah, it really pisses me off about the wheels. Dude is completely ignoring me.

Haven't really been updating this thread lately, still been taking pictures here and there. Here is what I have been up to lately

Nice weather a few weeks back, gave her a wash and put on the fender bra's

Put in the EDM console i bought, still searching for a palmy grey USDM console.

Took a trip to the mountains last weekend with my lady, this about sums it up..

Picked up a new rack, so much more space for parts!

1989 Civic SI lip installed, my bumper/support is bent in from a front end collision, the lip doesn't sit right around the edges because of it. This was the first time I had taken off the front bumper, so now I am on the hunt for a new front and rear bumper! Evil or Very Mad

Also picked up these optional seat belt guards?.. Not sure if that's exactly what they would be called, Im guessing they just make it easier for the seat belt to clip in. I thought they looked pretty cool

Rear fogs installed, the screws holding the support onto the bumper skin were so seized that I stripped more than half of them Evil or Very Mad I ended up having to cut the skin apart from the support and the rest I was able to break free with some vice grips. New bolts and upper support beam are ordered so I will not have this issue again. I really half assed the holes for the fogs, when I pick up a clean rear bumper I will make them look good.

Picked up another set of 88/89 front floor mats, still 6/10 condition but they are a lot cleaner than my other set.

Took my dremel to the door edge guards a few days back and gave them a fresh coat of trim black Cool

Also got this grey carpet from a guy in Cali, it was sun faded in a few spots  so badly that it turned the carpet pink. When I used the grey dye it turned the faded spots into a purple/grey color. Looks 10x better than it did though and no holes in it!
Before:

After a good scrub, pressure wash and dye:

How many of you actually use cassettes still? And no the cassette aux adapter doesn't count! Razz

Carpet removed

Floor pan scrubbed

Carpet is in! Buttoning everything back up! Smile

Well more big moves for this old silver sedan.

Installed the road flare with BNIB bracket when I put in the new carpet

And this passed Sunday the whole front end was pulled apart to fix the passenger headlight bucket. This is what it looked like, luckily it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

All cut out:

Went to the junk yard, picked up a few things. Gotta love only getting charged $5 for a mint headlight bucket.  Surprised Mocked up

Test fit the T bracket with headlight just to make sure everything lined up

All patched up, not the prettiest but I don't plan on popping my hood until she gets fresh paint.

Everything lines up beautiful! Just need to find a mint passenger side corner lens, mine was replaced with an aftermarket one at some point.

Also picked up this super cool CDM cassette deck, I have never seen one like it. And it sounds great! Even came with the original accessory booklet Cool

The sub harness is so big!!

Also pulled a few other things from the junk yard. A mint set of fender guards, a set of rubber mats, cassette deck and oem grills from a 87 sedan.

Cool Bug that I saw at work a few nights ago

My dome light sensors were all worn out so I upgraded them, pulled these from a 92 4 door accord. Makes a world of difference, highly reccomend it if anyone is having the same problem, they are plug and play. Ef sensor on the right, accord on the left.

Put the 87 rubber mats in

More interior whoring Razz

After a fresh wash, threw the fender bras and fender guards on

And as you all know tax season means new parts! Ordered KYB GR-2 struts and ground control coilover's. Still debating on top hats all around..

Also placed another order with honda, fingers crossed that everything is still on the shelves! Oh can't forget about these, tires ordered for my bottle caps and the aeronautics!

Thats all for now!

Good stuff man.  The front end looks so much better.  Are you sure the fender bra's are right?  They don't seem to fit right.  Also the flare is supposed to go straight up and down.  I had mine horizontal until Moe showed me a page out of his flare users guide.

Keep up the good work man!

Thanks man, I'm happy with the front end now. Yeah the fender bras are indeed SH4 I think over time the material just gets stretched out, when I snug up the mounting points it fits better but it's still not perfect. You are 100% correct about the flare, I just think it sits so much better at that angle. Good looks though man!

Thanks man, the guys who painted my station wagon are actually who did the cutting/welding. I helped out as much as I could though. It came out awesome besides the multi-colored bay..

The tires I bought are on backorder until late this month Sad Oh well, gives me time to get this wheel fixed. Which once again the dude is being a dick head and blowing me off about the insurance claim he supposedly filed with USPS. Some people mann....

Took the damaged wheel to get repaired a few days ago, got the color matched at Napa so hopefully it will be ready this week! 155.55.14's are on backorder for 6-8 weeks so I found a set of 165.50.14's that I settled on.

Saw this Accord wagon with a monster bull bar in Statesville

For those who don't know, 88-91 Prelude's have the same ash tray as our USDM lower consoles. I was fortunate enough to find a black interior 91 and it still had the ash tray!

USDM console with small EQ installed thanks again Zacattack

KYB's

KYB GR-2/Ground Control coilovers

Restored these covers for a civic wagon owner

Been staying busy, between working two jobs and maintaining my normal life there has been a lack of updates to this thread. Here are a few taken in the past week or so.

Been a little while since my last update, not much has changed besides wheels and a slight drop in the ride height.

And couldn't resist picking these up, even though I don't have brown interior Sad

Thanks guys, been a while since my last update. Been trying to track down the source of my funky idle. Cleaned the IACV and that didn't help, although it was filthy.. I picked up a new PCV valve and hose from Honda, swapped it out yesterday but I have yet to take my car for a spin so only time will tell. Its process of elimination at this point. Also did a little tune up, a few other random pictures and junk in no particular order.

My most recent order from honda finally arrived. DX muffler, grey rear deck cover, bumper lights, tool kit, rear speaker grills (brown), rear ash tray and some other random odds and ends Very Happy

Tore apart my old tattered headliner, now to find a material that looks OEM

Started cleaning up these tri-cone speaker covers

Gathers pods finally installed, Moe made this cool little harness adapter so the harness for the speakers is plug and play! They sound great

Yuck!

Thanks guys! Still tracing down this dang idle issue, swapped the injector last night from my other throttle body. Who knows if it will change anything, my throttle cable has seen better days though. So maybe that has something to do with it as well.

A friend of mine is working on indiglow garnishes. This is basically the template with the indiglow sheet under it, hooked up to a battery of course. So far it looks like they are going to be almost spot on to the OEM indiglows. I have seen a few people make poor attempts at reproducing these but I feel like he will do a killer job. He recently cut a garnish for a sedan owner to fit his OEM indiglow piece that he already had and it looks spot on.
