I gave it hell!
Just broke the 1000 mile marker today.
Developed a small oil leak from valve cover gasket and grommet, one bolt is stripped and wont seat fully.

Well, I was test fitting my turbo to see how much room I had to run piping, and punctured my stock radiator in the process. I was 90 miles from home and 10 miles from parts house, so I got a ride to buy an eg radiator and installed everything. Just got home. The only thing I forgot was to put oil filter back on after removing it to put sending unit above it....so I did waste 4qt of oil.
The only thing I lost was one of my exhaust bolts....the one the springs go on...pics tomorrow when I wake up.

So many silly mistakes. Take your time with things, it's not a race!

The sad part is that I was taking my time. It had gotten dark by that time and I kept checking over everything but failed to see the filter. Lolol oh well.

I still don't know who has what on their cars around here, will someone point me in the direction of some turbo 4th gens? I need to see bumpers and intercoolers, mine is 240sx status....super haggard.
My intercooler sits all kind of whopsided without a lot of room to move, and my piping vibrates hella bad, even after adjusting it again and adding rubber between parts it was rubbing on.

Thanks guys, here is a pic from this morning.

Im beginning to see this! All the welds look fantastic, but they just aren't lining up well. Might just be the subtle differences in fitting a crx kit in the sedan because it looked great in the crx. Also im gonna have my friend cut the downpipe and angle farther away from the ground.

Oh well, I might take the kit back off and just kick it n/a with low compression vitaras.

If you need a lip, I'd recommend a first gen Integra lip.  I have one on my sedan and CRX.  Just gotta trim two inches off each end but otherwise amazing fit and look.

Also, what I did for my 92+ Civic radiator was to cut off the tabs where the stock radiator sits, and then get a thin metal bar and weld it to the bottom of the tow hooks, and then put some stays on that.  It'll put the half core rad in a lower posistion and will sit upright.  I'll try to get pics of mine when I get a chance.

Spee, it was indeed slow before I got the turbo on.

Upon Edison Cariso's suggestion, I got a DA Integra lip today from the local pull-it yard.

I also nabbed a steering wheel from a 85 Accord, hoping the brown matches pretty well.

I hope you like the lip.  I have this style of first gen Integra lip on my CRX.

An update from Hicktown...
Got a 90 hatch with no motor.
Got an 88 crx with b18. Smokes really bad.
Plan is to find a clean shell for the B, sell asap. Scrap the crx (its rough).
Put a d in the hatch, try to hypermile it and teach girlfriend to drive manual.
We are moving soon and her 91 camaro doesnt get good fuel economy.

As far as my sedan, been running 10psi on the ghetto turbo build with few issues. My issues are more annoyances, shitty piping vibrating still and starter slide connection vibrating loose (even after i recrimped it ).

Turbo coming off in a few weekends until i can afford to get legit fit piping etc.

That's probably smart.  Better to pull it off and try again later on.  Hope you're able to make it out for the meet.  I've never seen to yr88's together at a meet.

Well....i cant wait to see what spee says, but my wastegate fell off today. Lmao. This car better be glad that im carefree. The pipe came apart just below the flange. Tube landed against crank pulley and was getting eaten up. Drove 2 hours home with hole in the manifold.

Gonna try to clean everything up and still try to make the houston meet.

Turbo is off. Junkyard manifold is on. Oil gasket aka red hitemp cocksnot because no one had in stock is curing. 90 hatch bumper is on, and fit perfectly.

Getting my wastegate welded back on this week. Gonna swap back to the turbo stuff once everything is secured.
I hate to backslide on my plans to go to the Houston EF meet this month, but I have to play with the slide terminal on my starter everytime I want to start my car.
Also, got a new (used) distributor to hopefully get rid of my annoying CEL finally.
Started painting my bumpers black yesterday. Will get some pics up asap, they look a ton better than the white swirls on grey bumpers...

I really wanna get some wheels hydrodipped/immersion printed with a wood grain pattern.

Had the turbo back on and running 10psi when my cheapass manifold broke again, this time lodging a quarter (25 cent) sized piece into my turbo....Turbo is seized.
In the meantime, I have been driving my grandmas car to work, and yesterday signed papers on a 2012 Silverado.
So now that I have a dependable daily I can spend more time with the civic down to get it perfect.

Its gonna feel great to have that 100k mile warranty. Not to mention I bought the 5 year tire and road hazard plan as well.

I was able to dislodge  chunk of manifold from the blades. Pulled the housing off and everything in there is fine. Spins freely with no play. Going to order a cast manifold and crank the boost through it since I have the truck to tow it home now.

Yes, poorly designed manifold collector is poor.
