This car is going to be my daily 'looker'. I bought this car almost a year ago when my wife and I were going through some fincial troubles. She drove it and I brought the ol' girl back up to a stable running state. When we picked it up it had cut springs in the front and was very difficult to drive. It bottomed out everywhere! On the up&up, everything works. The power locks, all the power windows the cruise, and even the A/C!! When I got it I thought the power steering might've been burned out. Amazingly enough, all it needed was a belt! LOL!

I hope to come into this forum and discover more for aftermarkets for the sedans. Cross-over conversions and such as well. I have an idea in mind for this car and the goals in which I wish to obtain with it. Please keep in mind, I also have a EF/ ED7 Hatchback that I work on as well. With my new aquired car, the hatch is going under the knife and more than likely becoming my 'Weekend Warrior'/ Show Car, but progress on the sedan will be slow. I've been into the EF chassis' since the first time I saw a '91 CRX when I was 15. Something about that car just struck me in a way I couldn't explain.

Sorry I don't have more pics at the moment, as I said this car really hasn't been a huge priority until recently.

I will be getting some speaker pods for it and some coils over to drop it down and level her out better, within the next week or so. Hopefully... Well, I hope you enjoy. Feel free to ask questions! LOL!

Nice sedan.  I know what you mean, there's something about these body lines that grabs you and never lets go.

Nice! Let me know when you go to get rid of them (if you dont trade Wink). I may buy them if the shipping isn't a killer, I've been on the look out for a set but no one around here wants to get rid of theirs.. Guess thats the price of living in a town you can pee across  Rolling Eyes

Glad to see you posting over here. The sedan market can be limited in some ways, but that just forces us to get creative.
I just got my lx rolling this weeknend and wow! I'm already lovin the power windows, mirrors, locks, and cruise lol!

Looking forward to your progress and input around here.

Well I won't be trading, simply because the money that I get from them is goin to help pay for my next set of wheels. I just put em on my friends EG coupe last night so that they don't just sit and rot the tires off, but when I get the chance I'll see how much they weigh to give a general idea on how much it will possibly take to ship them.

EF Sedan Enthusiast, I live in Fort Worth, but I don't wanna come in here and start a squabble over a set of wheels. Besides It looks like 90EFSedan could benefit from a good set of wheels, instead of havin to run steelies. What do you think??

Thanks for the welcome! I'm starting to see what you mean about the aftermarket, but then again it's the same problem I had when I had my '83 Olds Cutlass. No aftermaket, hardly for the original 307 v-8. Everyone kept telling me to take it out and drop a 350 in it. I'm a machinist... you think I was thwarted? LOL! Heck no!

I know what you mean about all the power accesories! My cruise stopped working, but I think I know why, but yeah this car spoils the crap outta me! Never thought I'd enjoy a slush box so much! LMAO!

The biggest thing I'm lookin to do most imediately, is rebuild a D15 for it and get her runnin really sharp. She's a little wore out, which is to be expected, but I've been in this game too long just to run somethin into the ground! So rebuild is always the next step! LOL! I'm not goin crazy with this one like I did my hatch, but I'll be playin around here and there. I've been thinkin of a way to make the "mushroom top" in take a lil more attracive and work better. I have a 5-axis CNC at my work... possibilties are almost limitless!

Got my coil-overs last night and I am loving them!!!

Put the slips on because I don't want those brand new tires just sitting on the the hatch getting flat sides while the car sits and get worked on. So I put the suspension from the sedan and the steelies I have and tossed those under the hatch. You'd cry if you saw it... I almost did.

Get you some better ones later. These were taken with a friends iPhone 4G.

No worries about the wheels.  I wasn't trying to say sell them to me instead of him.  Just wanted to let you know incase he passes.

It looks good on the slips.

Car looks damn good after the drop. The new wheels look slick too. And I promise I won't be all butthurt if I don't get the meshies, lol. If I have the cash when you get ready to sell them I'll take 'em, if not its all good. My car is a very slow coming project, lol.

Alright man, no prob. I just didn't wanna be comin up in here seemin like I was steppin on anyone's toes, lol! I want to go lower with the drop but I dunno yet. This height is functional and I've only hit the underside on one speed bump. I keep three wheelin driveways though! Lmao!! When I do it, I imagine what it looks like to the people passing.. "What? What the hell did that car just do?" ROFLMAO!!!

lmao I hear ya, mine isn't really all that low at all but the roads around here are a freakin joke. And I have to go over two sets of railroad tracks that are on a pretty good incline.. I take that route at least 1-3 times a day.. The flaps drag everytime, lol. I'm waitin for the day I hit them just right and run over the poor bastards  Rolling Eyes

Your flaps scrape at the railroad crossings? Sheeeeeit! My dx would drag flaps if I hit the crown of the road just right! And they were already shaved down to the bottom of the Honda logo!  Very Happy

Love the sedan on slips bro! And I followed the build of your hatch on ef-honda... Clean rides.

LOL! I start getting paranoid when my flaps start draggin. Had a CRX I dropped and had to remove em. LOL!

It's nice to know that there are a few people following the hatch. Gives me more motivation.

My last EX had barely any mud flaps left, haha.

I like the slips on the hatch better.  What would you put on the sedan?

I'm lookin at gettin some Drag DR-20's. I know, I know. They're knockoffs, but my budget does supply O.G. Balla parts right now... That's why I wanna sell the Meshies. Otherwise I'd keep everything and just be a wheel whore! LOL!

Then that just make me feel all the more welcome here.

Tried to go to a meet this weekend for another forum I'm on. It's run by a bunch of teenagers... Organization like a twin ball play in a pinball machine. Ended up headin to a friends instead.
I have a very strong lead on a parts EF sedan. It's a whole car, that's been sitting for a LONG time. Still debating bringin it back up and selling it as a driver to someone. Dunno yet.

So... I'm gonna go out on a limb here and make an executive desicion. The desicion being: I'm planning now to tear the hatch down and sell it as a rolling shell. I'm gonna take the B16 drivetrain and shoehorn that monster down into the sedan. I'm having too much fun in this 4door (I never thought I'd say that about a car with more than 2 doors)! I just need something with a little more Umph! A friend of mine suggested building up one of the D16's I have and convert to mulit-point, but then my imagination got the best of me and the next thing you know, I've lost complete interest in my hatch.
I really half expected this. I figure if I want to later I can always build another one. Right now I need the fun family car, because that is where a lot of my attention is going, is to my family. Why not have the best of both worlds?? So I'll be doing a lot of research on how, not only to convert to B-series VTEC  but also to convert to a clean looking 5-speed as well. I'll be giving informative pictorials too, so stay tuned if you want to know how to do this to one of your cars in the future! Wink
