i almost forgot to add that i did my dx to lx conversion a long while back otherwise i wouldnt want power folding mirrors Razz

took around 5 hours to complete the full swap, but didnt get it started that day because of a loose ground. the day after i found the problem and running car. very easy but i still havent hooked up the doors to the interior harness. plus i have 88 doors and a 91 harness. good thing my friend helped me out and found me some 91 power hranesses.

the dx doesnt have a cutout for the rear power accesories so i have to make a hole in the pillar for the harness to go through.

and later on before hin i painted my friends bucket seat for hin. he won most jdm/ oem car at the show.

and pics of my car. hella ugly. but i got stuff done

i need to work on the body. right now school started so i have to do the responsible thing and pay for what i need, rather than want. i want alot of things but i need school. So this week i didnt buy anything new, not even gas. i still made it though. Now i need to begin some bodywork. probably back to patches again. i hope to get more bodywork done when i drop off my mom tomorrow morning.

also powerfolding mirrors for sedan came in! i can finally replace my passenger side glass. ill probably get rid of them after i change over glass.

ya, i bought another set from one of the guys here on the efcivicsedan for sale thread. im just taking the glass off the passenger side mirror. and trading it with mine which is cracked but still intact. i was told that the glass can be replaced. All im gonna do is clean them up, repair the fucked up wiring and give em away to a good home. you replace the mirror glass, or keep it as is. still visible. i already have my own set. I spent 130 just to buy the oem replacement glass. nothing wrong with the mirrors. Razz

liljoey:
btw i think i texted you awhile back on parts you were interested in buying? i have 91 taillights and extra bs that i can sell as well as the extra set of power folding mirrors for sedan.

AND YESTERDAY! i bought the whole interior carpet for 7 bucks. although its not black, its gonna make my car more complete for meanwhile, plus its ok........just stinks like pussy. though. EW i hella washed that shit for days and its getting better......but its still ew. ima wash it day by day till it smells like me.

pics:
since i installed the omnipower full coilovers it actually raised my car a tiny bit. the tophats make the springs preload rougher, so i have to install some shorter springs in order to lower it flush.

at the shop installing my coilovers:

outside my homies house, see how car sits?:

at school:

at work:

pics of new hood, i had a rough time installing the hood, it didnt close easily and took me hours at the yard till i found out why it didnt sit closed. i had to slit the holes in the hood latch to pull it forward.... anyways i made a small dent ontop of the emblem and already had a dent towards the passenger side, hella rock chips at the face of the hood, and some towards the middle, still need to smooth it out.:

began with sanding the whole body as well, luckily i only need a little bit of filler, cause i hate using filler to fix major dents:

today i painted my front bumper, took me hours to do it nicely, masking was a bitch:
before masking

after masking

new wheels are wedsport autobahnmesh 15x7+10 offset 4x100, began to use paint stripper to eat away the clear coat.

idk if there is much to update, i keep forgetting to update this buildthread cause i always update the one on honda-tech....

i have gotten a new momo steering wheel a few months back

new federal formoza 165-45-15 inch tires

measure the rideheight at bottom of fender at  20 1/4 inches, still plan to go lower

uhh progress of car here:
began to sand down car in hopes of fixing dents, and then it began to rain so i began to primer it and painted it shortly after when the weather cleared up.....

then i painted one side of the car

went to hella flush meet and found one pic of my car:

then painted most of the car:
side pic

still havent painted the hood....

and next week ill buy a new rear bumper cover since this one is done for, dont feel like repairing the dents

happy thanksgiving!

as you can tell i need to keep stripping paint from the rims, and still need to clean out the dents on my car.
