i got yellow 9005 bulbs high beam. i drive w/ them on fog rain makes a big difference cant get a ticket for it cause Lexus and legends have it too wouldn't be fair. my brother had it too but yellow city lights back in the 90's that's when high beam bulbs weren't available. rally cars other motorsports use yellow or green basically its your choice of style. i think the yellow started once the jdm integra one piece head light had it that was a big influence. b1 hybrid and piaa were the first to have 1157 and 1156 but a brand no name brand came in red package yellow 97 blubs fits the 1156 socket they been around i believe 1988. i think it was 1997, nokya and other china brands made 9005 yellow bulbs 1999. before yellow bulbs were available i use to use tamiya transparent yellow and dip them. or spray with transparent yellow.
