Will 88 tein stech springs fit 87As the topic says, im having a hard time finding springs/coilovers for my 87 sedan. So i decided to ask if springs/coilovers for a 88 sedan will fit on my car. Thx.

an 87 doesnt even have springs in the front, and im sure the rear are differant,
If you are looking to lower it, you can do the front for free, no parts needed, just release some preload on the torsion bars.

hm, i'll try that. i know the ef and da have similar parts, do you know any make and yr w. similar parts to the 87?

woot! good news! found a place that sells suspension parts for my year!  oh yeah, i also found out that my front works off torsion bars, not spring and shocks.

Scary? How so? Torsion bars are great for adjustability, and they're a breeze to change on those 84-87 cars. The only major drawback is the lack of static negative camber, but that can be fixed.
The suspensions on the 84-87 cars and the 88-91 cars are 100% different. I don't think anything can be swapped from one to the other. I've spent the last 8 years or so dealing with the 84-87 cars, so I know quite a bit about their characteristics. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about them.

For the same reason as i think leaf springs are scary.
