Whats up from Brooklyn, New York...(NOOB)Whats up fam! My name Daneja i'm out in Brooklyn, N.Y. and i found this site from honda-tech....EF Sedan Enthusiast is the person who put me on to you guys... and this is a great site...!! my mouth droped when i saw the "EF Sedan Squad"!! This is my first car ever...and i'm fresh off the subway...lol, so i'm a NOOB. i don't know anything about cars and i'm hungry to learn thats why i'm here. i was gonna "rice" my car out but i been talking with a guy on this site called "JDM John" and he helped me out a lot understand this "seen" I just finished watching a movie that he told me to buy called "The persuit of function". So now i wanna do the "JDM thing" for sure. i just don't know a thing about cars 
So i got this sedan from an old lady for $1000 about 3 1/2 months ago with 85,000 miles on it. this is what i got done to it. I changed the oil twice. got new shocks "performace ones" i forgot the name of em.... they where $205 for all four.. i got the windows tinted and i put 15 inch rims and tires on it.... i need a tune up... but i want to learn how to do that myself.... my alternator died on me and killed my battery, so i had to get a new battery and alternator. and i got a new timing belt also....theres so much that i wanna do so i took some pics of under my car and under my hood so you guys can help me out. i don't have a clue whats all them wires and hoses are...?

Welcome. ur ride has low miles for being a 20 year old car. what do u wanna do to it? its really hard to find the jdm parts but when u go jump on them an dont let them go. but ur in the right place if u wanna learn about these cars.

Thanx for the warm welcome guys well what i want to do is... two things... I want the car to have "Looks" and "Performace" I want that JDM Look and i want to hook up my engeine. I want to slam the car when winter is over...just in case of the snow... and redo the interior. i got to show u guys how bad it looks in there. the last thing im gonna do is the paint job.... i wanna get ridd of all the rust and dents that are on the car too...theres some rust by the rear wheels...but before i make any moves i'm gonna get at u guys first just to make shure i'm doing everything right  oh yeah is there anybody thats local in NYC that can show me where to get JDM parts or any parts..?? any NYC EF'ers out there... I need head lights bad...when i hit the gas my headlights move up!  and i need all new hose's. i don't know where to get this stuff..?? and JDM John...i called ya phone and i cant get you...get at me on myspace or yahoo. I saw the movie... thanx for helping me out guys

Is thee any wires in particular that you need to know what they do? The yellow ones in your pictures are your distributor leads, it sends an electric signal to your spark plugs.

A tree fell on my EF!! I had this bad feeling that i should of never parked my car where i did.... This is many of the empty lots that are in my hood and i hate parking by them...but there was no parking when i got home  and i was forced to park there It was a dead tree that fell on my car and crushed the back and top. There is know way to contact anybody to cover my damages to the car. I called the NYPD and there good for nothing !! they said they can't help me...."its a old car" they said... get a new one!!!  so i got to come out my pockets now....and now im scared to park by trees!!!!
you can see the tree broken over the red garadge the guy u see is his garadge and fence that got tookin down.

My car is parked under trees at this time. I will start my engine and park it at another place.... I'm to scared....

oh man that sucks. is that a property or what? maybe u can sue the owner of that land because they are lieable for that. its not on city property thats why they told u there is nothing u can do. good luck man and that sucks what happend.
