What Wheels you think look best on sedans

What wheels you think look best on sedans i say OG Axis and gsr blades. What you think?
EF4lyf3

I couldnt say there is a "Best looking wheel." I think its the way the sedan looks that make the wheel in most instances. Me, I like deepdish, not that gay as STANCE bull crap though. Deep dish Diamond racing wheels look beautiful with no camber. But as of now i have some Slip Streams that are looking pretty sex on my sedan. Smile Maybe This should turn into some pics????
4dred6

it all depends on your taste, i hate oem wheels.

but i love low offset wheels

here s some pic of what i like

and this are my dream wheels
EF4lyf3

Couldnt have said it any better myself. Those pics are damn sexy too. Ill get a good shot of mine on the Slip streams. I like the way it looks but im looking for a perfect offset combo.
HondaJunkie

I really like the XXR 002's 0 offset in hyper silver.
Ruck36

Sweet pics and lets see some pics of those slips bud
4dred6

4dred6

What color is that? Oem paint?
EF4lyf3

Its brown with a hint of gold. I love the color on it, and im thinking of getting a nice touch up in the near future. Looking up some diamond racing wheels to get a price on those.. I had them like 3 years ago on my 4 door now everyone has them opn there civics...i hope the price didnt go up because of this  Sad
4dred6

Love the color. Price should be the same
EF4lyf3

price IS the same thank god, and its cheaper than i remember to which is a serious +. Hope to have those very very very soon. Pics when they come in tho
4dred6

Nice

Always like slips... had a pair myself... but if limit is the sky... jdm ftmfw!!!!
nanotech

I've always had a thing for Equip 01's and 02's

But I've warmed up to Desmond Regamasters too

I'm a little disappointed I haven't seen too many sedans rocking SSR MK2's though...

Can't wait for my Formula Mesh to arrive Razz
4dred6

^ I just jizzed  Shocked
nanotech

I almost bought a set of mk2's for the mx5 but lost my job...
This is a pic from the test fit

My first wheels were a set of Watanabe f8's

I also had a set of knock off Work Emotion CR-KAI wheels for a brief period on it too.

And these are the current wheels  on it. Work Meister CR-01's

Point is, all these wheels would look amazing on an EF sedan! I'd love to see a set of cr01's and not enough guys rock watanabe's on these cars. Makes me sad inside   Sad  Crying or Very sad [/img]
4dred6

My homie had a set of panasports on his sedan (very similar to
watanabes). I also seen a sedan with those meisters.
nanotech

Wouldn't happen to be this guy would it  Laughing

89ef2

Always love the work meister's
4dred6

Close, the one I'm talking about is flat red on flat black works.
HondaJunkie

Works are awesome rims but I myself would never buy anything that nice those would get stolen so fast around here or they will just take your car if they cant get the rims off lol.
jmanwantsboost

Is rim theft a big deal out there? I know the methheads out here will steal anything. The local used tire place had like 3k in aluminum rims jacked. Damn tweeks tunneled into the shed and made off.
HondaJunkie

Yea rim theft but mainly honda thefts there is a car stolen after every meet on sundays and im not kidding its getting out of control. They made a tunnel lol wtf damn meth heads.
jmanwantsboost

Fuck that. I wanna hit up some meets, but I like my car too much. Yea the lady that runs the place said there was a tunnel. More like a dog digging under a fence but an eff load of wheels were lifted. I love a nice set of glossy black steelies and chrome lugs. I'd love a list of other cars with the same lug pattern to hunt some cool OEM wheels down for cheap.

Thats just crazy man, you can look into 80's era VW and BMW for oem wheels they have some really good ones.
4dred6

Crazy, usually ppl around here steal the whole car.
89ef2

Ive never had a honda stolen from me but it can be bad around here....Lucky I have a 8ft. fence with dogs in my backyard and at most times someone is at my house and awake... Fawks thiefs
88sedan

I had some riken mesh wheels on my sedan and man it looked SEXYYYY lol
Jace

how would 14x6.5 ET19 sit on one of these? i have EX-C mesh i should fit to mine.

i think these look sweet, slammed on stock wheels with a decent amount of tuck. the shape of the car lends itself well to the stock/lowrider look i think.
nanotech

Dude just come over with one and fit it. the car is already jacked up with the wheel off
90edbox

I'm running 99 00 si wheels currently they look a lot better then the steelies that came with my car, but I love the way enkei 92s with a low offset look on the sedans I hope to grab a set for my ride in the future

90edbox

Nice man what size did you get I want the 15x8 with the +25 offset but idk if I can do them with just a fender roll and a camber kit
89CivicSi

i was able to get 15x7 +32 with 195/50/15 on them with out rolling fenders. if ur low i would stay away from the 15x8 if u dont wanna roll fenders

Geo-93

This is the president of SouthSiiiiide Auto Customs
and his wheels are legit jlines

Alexandro8100

Every recommendations here so far is not bad per say but all the wheels described are all a little bit different in how they execute and what not. Choose what it is you are looking for from when you say best and then create an suggested choice from there.
EF4lyf3

I agree.

4dred6

That's my old setup they're called "Effect Lethal"
Specs are 15x8 et0 on federal 165/50
yan01232

I'm going to try my new Ssr visconti, 15x6 15x7
but they need a refresh
Iam hyped to try something different of steelies or mesh wheels that I see on a lot of sedan
spudwrench

I ended up going with the avid av07 got them on a great deal and that's what I'm looking at thinking about rocking 195/45/15 on them
BruhMan

I love a clean sedan on a set of EM1 wheels...
Jerseys_fyn3st

To me anything that is proper fitment, 15x8 25 offset is limit to me, 15x12  lol -57  shit looks ridiculous and is dangerous in so many ways. But to each their own . The enkei rpf1 is growing on me now=) might snatch a set soon or mirror polished evos or spoon sw's  can't wait

Are R15 the biggest tires that can be put on a sedan or can I look for R16 also? Is this only a cosmetic thing or is also a mechanic issue for this car?
89civicracer

I have had a few sets of wheels on the car. †Can't go wrong with 15", but I like my custom 16". †

Mugen MF10's 15x6.5 +45  (195-50r15)

Mugen M7's 15x6.5 +45 w/1" spacers (195-50r15)

Mugen MR5's 15x6.5 +38 (195-50r15)

Custom Mugen MR5's 16x8 +32 (205-45r16)
JB81

Thanks for pics. The 16" are really looking great on your car. I will probably put on mine something like this, too. It's not a big difference, but still...

Depends more on the sidewall size and width rather than the wheel diameter.

I'm running 16's also.
K3Nguru

I need your help 89civicracer and others. I want to know your 15" wheel widths, offsets and tyre profiles. I have a set of Honda OEM ES5 wheels (15" x 6", ET +40) and I'm thinking of buying 195/50R15 tyres (Bridgestone Potenza RE002 Adrenaline) for my EE5. I guess that 195/55 would be too much rubber. Please, submit pics with specs so I can compare different setups! Stock sizes are 175/65R14 and 175/70R13. I'm using 155/80R13 studded winter tyres Very Happy

I updated the images above with the tire sizes & wheel specs.

Thanks, that is good to know.
What are your dimensions with 16Ē? Do you maybe know what are max dimensions that can be safely put on a sedan?

I (personally) would not go larger than 16 and 8" wide.
Put it this way, i am still running the fender liners in the front.  People will take these out to allow them to drop their car lower and for clearance, but, again, personally, lowering the car too much will cause more problems which i do not want to deal with.

No no, I wonít touch my fender liners also. Like you said, I donít want to cause me any problems with lowering car and stuff like that. It sure looks nicer but I donít have any experience with that soÖ

Thanks mate! Your car looks ace and all those Mugen wheels must have cost you silly money Smile! Looks like my plans are about right.

I agree with 16x8 being the max size. I think 16x8 with a 205/45r16 would fit ok. I want 16x7's though, i think the 16x8's with a 205/45 make the car feel a bit 'over tyred'... I think the car would handle better with 16x7's with a 195/50 or 195/45
JB81

I was just looking for this specifications, what would suit me the most. I will probably go with 16x8, 205/45, just because it looks the best on the car (more stable), in my opinion.
bbarbulo

i like OE wheels a lot!

The 7th gen 'fat five 2' looks good, as do the 7th gen split 5 spoke.  Love LS meshies and the original fat five off the 95ish Integra GSR.

I don't care much for GSR blades or 99-00 SiR wheels.

In aftermarket I haven't really looked in a long time, but I have a few sets of 4x100 wheels in 16, 17, and 18" sizes, but those are mostly for my other cars.  I might try the 16" ATS Type 10 I have on the 4G4D and see if I like it, or maybe my 16" BBS RX.
K3Nguru

love BBS RXs. These are the 7th gen 7 spoke OEM wheels I'm going put under my EE5. I have two sets of them Smile. They're very lightweight and IMO they look good. Accidentally, you can also see my SE37Ks in the same pic: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com...eZXdNAAmkCkCoXBg=w1280-h1024?.jpg

These 7th gen OEM wheels are much heavier than the 7 spokes.

No EE5 in these photos but I'll update when I get the tyres fitted.
