What tires have you liked, hatedThere is a whole section deticated to motion controll on my other forum www.xceedspeed.com but i think this is the closest we've got so in here it goes
ME!!
I have hated:
Good year eagle RS-A: Worst dry traction of any brand name tire EVER
Dominator all season radial (came on truck): worst wet traction EVER
Tires i have liked (starting cheepest):
Sumitomo HTR 200 (paid $42 each) 205/60HR13: Exelent wet traction, great dry. As hard as i tryed, could not even cherp them shifting 1st-2nd.
Cons: flimsy sidewalls. had to be at high pressure to have good turn in feel and to not squeal all the time, but great for launching!
BFG Traction T/A (paid $58 a piece) 185/60HR15: Good in snow. Great in the wet (just a notch below sumitomos) Good Dry, LONG LASTING. Still on the CRX
Dunlop Direzza DZ101 (A steal at $48 Plus $50 mail in rebate on 4) 205/50VR15: Awsome dry, exelent wet (only a little better than the sumitomos) great turn in, Goofy looking sidewall/rimguard. But makes for easy alignments.
Wore out about as fast as the sumitomos, so my average 20-25k
Michilin pilot sport (on my cousans SLK kompressor AMG) Maybe the car, definately partialy the tires, but 45mph marked twistys were nothing, even at 108!
Im a michilin man, and have gotten their X ice snow tires (scrawny 155/80qr13) last season cuz i got all 4 for just over $80 but usualy cant aford them
Thats the last of the 13's, no more!! 15 minimum for my NSX brakes.

im guessing you mean Kumho? I was impressed by the MX, stiff sidewall, great grip.
Havent had but once set of yoko's, and they are the 420's they blow
As far as toyo, For what it cost, i was greatly disapointed with the T1R
I am going to try the hankook RS-2 on my crx in a 195 60 R14 next summer, and hope to get the sedan on the road and try out the PZero Nero's i got.

BF Goodrich G force Sport. they are good in dry and wet traction and on the turns they dont squeel. next tire i wanna get is Falken Azenis.

If the tire has descent grip, i don't mind if it squeals.
I'm on Yokohama A Drive's. Good dry, ok wet though. I've had tires before which were hard to differentiate between grip levels in different conditions. Wet and dry conditions are night and day on this tire.

Here in Louisiana it rains and we really don't have snow, so i would need a good tire for the wet weather, I kinda like Kumho's
Ecsta711 there suposed to be good in the wet weather and keep
you from hydroplaning too much. i was think 205/50/15 i like the wide stuff to hug the road.

I like the Yokohama ES100's. . but they tend to get loud when they wear down. . I've had NITTO's. . those lasted me barely a year.
Right now i have Kumho's Ecsta, i belive, on the Acura and i like them. They are good for wet and dry. .

can you be more specific? Kumho makes 13 different tires with the Ecsta name, 16 if you count the run flats and colored smoke........
