Thanks for letting me know. I edited the proper link in.

Did you by any chance check the clutch cable? Might be super loose and not engaging or it could be messed up in general. Just a suggestion. Also see if the bar that is bolted to the trans from the shiftlinkage is still attached. That kind of thing might cause the issue
jmanwantsboost

The clutch is fine. In the video when you see the rpm drop, that's me letting the clutch out and the car is like stuck in gear while the stick is in neutral. I'll take another video to really show the stuck shifter
jmanwantsboost

Where is that bar?
EF4lyf3

The shift linkage has 2 bars. One bar is the shifter. The other is bolted to the transmission.
EF4lyf3

Find it yet?
jmanwantsboost

Hmmm I need to get it jacked up so I can take a look. I wonder if the linkage popped loose. The guys that put the clutch and tranny in weren't the smartest. Case in point the nut that holds the terminal to the starter was damn near vibrated loose.
jmanwantsboost

My car is so low it's impossible to get under it and I don't have a jack :/
EF4lyf3

:/  park in the dirt and dig under  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy . The linkage could be loose. That bar believe it or not plays a big role in shifting

If I dug  a pit in the driveway, the landlord would shit his pants. Lol.

Lol and he's right

I pray the tranny is okay and it's just the linkage
HondaJunkie

^ I second what he says its starting to sound alot like a shift linkage problem. It's really easy to find and fix those though it's 2 black metal bars tucked above your exhaust just slightly after your catalytic converter. What you can do is pop your hood look in your engine bay at the top of your transmission if you look towards the back of it you should notice a metal bar with a small dowel pin going threw it connected to the back of your tranny. Now you can follow that bar back and it will lead you too your shifter the bushings and the those problematic areas.
jmanwantsboost

Thanks Smile I'll be looking into this. I have seen this rod you speak of. I'll see if I can get it jacked up and check. I'd love to drive my car again :/
EF4lyf3

And we would love to make sure your driving the car as well bro. But for sure check the linkage. That dowel pin that links the linkage to the tranny is also called a "bitch pin" for various reasons as you can see.
Might be gone and holding on by a thread.

Thanks for the back up on this my friend. Cool

Could something line that be the cause of this happening out of thin air? Just a bolt waiting to pop out? My tranny has given me grief for weeks now. That problem where the gear feels locked out. It used to do that shifting to fifth for a couple weeks. Fifth gear just wouldn't go in. And then it started working smooth again, just with a grind into fifth. But when the issue happened I was shifting to fourth.
EF4lyf3

Could be bro. Remember our cars are one of a kind. These cars have minds of there own. It is and I gaurantee you, something stupid. Just check all points where the linkage meets the trans and the shifter meets the chassis. Then we will go from there. Video would be great! It will help us possibly locate something out of the ordinary.

I'll do another video tomorrow. Put the go pro on a stick and check it out. I'll get the hang if the gopro freehand. It was set to 1080 narrow pov. I'll open the range up and really show what's up.

Every vehicle has a soul. My car just feels so peppy and eager. I love it. I loved my pickup with all my heart as well. I'll post some pics of her tomorrow.
EF4lyf3

Sounds good on both post!! Cool

Yea I miss my sedan. I love the accord coupe my mom is graciously lending me for my finals week. The f23 vtec is so torquey. Even the auto doesn't dampen the fun too much. But the steering feels way too light and not as direct. Would love an ex steering rack Wink. But yes  I'll get a better video up. I didn't preview before uploading. My bad  Embarassed

No worries man! Just trying to help you out  Very Happy
