ThurmanMerman's Welfare ProjectIm no newb to ef's. Ive owned 1 wagon, 2 hatches(1dx, 1si) 1 crx dx and now my lx 4 door. Buddy of mine found the car and didn't want to deal with it anymore so I picked it up off him since its a rust free Texas car. I shit a brick when I see a rust free ef up here. In North Dakota they are almost impossible to find. Anyways, so I decided this is my "use all the parts I have laying around collecting over the years to put into one project". Hence, The Welfare 4 door. Here is what I have so far and what I need to get.
Have:
EG Si Front and Rear disc brake with prop valve
SS Front brake lines
Z6 IM w/ hondata gasket
Intrax springs on GR2's
Full ES bushing Kit
Auto to Manual swap
MPFI swap
CRX DX front seats
Need:
OBD1 conversion harness
SS rear brake lines
Few body panels
Should be able to post up some pics when I pull the beast out of storage.

Sounds like a good project. What's been your favorite EF so far? I wouldn't mind a CRX to be honest.

Rockin the full set of OEM honda hub caps. O yeah.
So far my favorite EF would have had to be the CRX(donated it suspension to the 4 door) until this happened.
This is the EG donor car that will sacrifice its brakes and other goodies. Shell is too rusted to do anything with and it has rear end damage.
Im from Fargo but have also lived in Bismarck. And yes ive seen Fargo and no I don't talk with an accent like that.

yea, LX's came with TACHs

no not about the tach more of the auto selection on it. lol i don't remember seeing that but that's how all came stock. mine did but i spaced on it

Origianal TX car. Only been up here a couple years so I haven't found any body rust yet. Woot! But I have feeling that there is gonna be some rust on the undercarrige but im crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
Somewhere in the timeline tho something thought it was a great idea to Poly the turnsignal to the fender. DOH!

You mean the black bucket that the headlight is attached to? If so yes.
Atleast I know its not going to fall out anytime soon.
