Thanks.

More tips please.  Razz
Type-S EF

i would get the softest urathane mounts you can (hasport has 3 to choose from), and get an energy suspension hyperflex kit to keep wheel hop to a minimum, with all the rubber you will be laying.

put a clutch and timing belt on while its out of the car, its A LOT!! easier then.

my $0.02

Why would you go for the softest hasport mounts?
Can you get an energy suspension hyperflex kit for a sedan or is the hatch close enough?

Is 2.5 inches????

Because regardless of what urethane mounts you get it still feels like there's and earthquake when you start the engine.  All that added vibration flex's and fatigues the metal, notice in Grand Turismo 4 that you re-freshen the rigidity of the car, the more abuse the body/frame takes the more it flex's

And the hatch, CRX, Wagon, Sedan all have the same hyperflex kit. as far as shifter, the shift stabilizer bushings are in the hyperflex kit, the only things not in the kit are the trailing arm bushings and motor mount inserts.  The only bummer is the rack bushings they give you only fit the power rack, and they don't make bushings for the manual rack.

I have not had a bad short shifter yet,  I have installed quite a few less than $20 shipped shifters and the only thing i have to say is that the inside of the bearing race of the ball bearings most have is bigger than the stock bolt, or any bolt that fits through the linkage.  So what i did is i drilled it out, and made my own bolt, that just barely slides through.  in the future i would probably just get a name brand shifter (better known than Ractive or APC at least) and it would all be cherry.
