Suspension Help..so this is my setup..
front upper strut bar.
rear upper strut bar.
ground control coilovers.
stock shocks.
what should i do? i want to get the best handling and one that can cut curves better..
i know i should upgrade the shocks.. i was thinking tokico blues.
but what about lower tie bar ?
also do they make sway bars for EF's ?

blues are good bang for your buck. I'd also suggest a rear lower tie bar, the handling difference Isn't huge, but the frame takes a beating back there under hard driving.
Also, look into a rear swaybar, they make a huge difference.

if you get a swaybar it'll completely change the way your car handles.. its one of the best suspension mods you can do to a car.. so do that plus some sway bars some with tie bars that are made to fit together.. which works out really well.. i had a comptech sway/tie bar on my '99 Civic Si.. was badass.. i miss that car

honda makes them for ef's... you can find them on any civic or crx si in the junk yard. you need the LCAs, bolts, and mounting brackets. then drill the four holes in the trunk and put bolts all the way through for the mounting brackets. look for my thread about it on honda-tech

What's the purpose of rear strut bar in sedan? In hb I'll understand. Sedan already have huge rear panel tying the 2 sides together. Excess useless weight for me .

every little bit helps... i'm sure your chassis has weakened over the last 15+ years.. i just put a cheap ass one one there that i had laying around.. i felt a little difference.. nothing major.. but definitly a difference.. a better one i'm sure would make a bigger difference.. the car definitly rotates better

NO bad, dont drill holes into your trunk, i am doing this tonight, i will take pictures and show the better way, your just begging for rust that way.
I'll sell my front and rear sway bars from an SI in a few months. Probably sometime this summer, getting suspension techniqes from summit, shipped both for under $300
BTW they are powdercoated red, for style!!

I never saw any hint of rust after having it in for a year and a half... but I'm sure in the midwest it would be 100% more likely to rust.
I opted for the Si swaybar and drilled holes since it cost about $12 for me. (more worth it IMO than spending $300 for a non-oem swaybar.
