yeah... Any aftermarket spring will stress out the oem shocks Sad
but do you guys think it would be ok to have them for 2 months? till I get the type one coils.. I kinda wanna do it because we are having a big  meet this saturday and I feel 4x4 in there "Sad lolll

Ive done worse in my younger days... Rode ebay coils with blown shocks.... Couldnt afford nothing but looked better parked but rode like I had hydraulics... Do and sacrafice looks for comfort!!!!

you'll be fine for a few months and then some id do it.

I'm just tired of this..

I'd personally just wait until i could afford the proper suspension.

Yeah thats why I have taken my time on suspension because i wanna do it right.. but this meet is telling me to do it lol
Towlie

The money you are going to use for those egay coilovers should just be saved for a better suspension set up! Trust me im on generic coilovers and I just regret not saving for better suspension -.-

I did the stock shocks and springs for a while and was bouncing all over the place.....Then switched to springs and tokico blue's... it was nice... but did not get me the drop i wanted...when i finally switched to coilovers, it was night and day... Go on craigslist and see if anyone is parting with a spring shock set up for cheap....maybe something you can sell for a little bit of money when you are ready to plunk down for a decent set..... Wink
EF Sedan Enthusiast

If you're getting the springs for free or super cheap, then go for it.  If not, I agree that it's better to wait.
89civicracer

yea, just remember that the set up you get will be updated to something better.... Don't spend too much.... Laughing

If you are saving up for the goid stuff but want a "look" for now. Why not jyst cut your stock springs.....
C-Rex

Cut spring can be scary to drive on Shocked

Think you should wait too you'll be happier in the end and will have saved money

Jerseys_fyn3st

That set up = bounce house but its temp I say do it for the meet. i wanna see this thing slammed already!!!!!!!

89 LX SOHC ZC

EF Sedan Enthusiast
