Rootbeer float l<3v VC::Finished up my vc..once the bay is shaved/and fully tucked and painted it will set it off.Yea I know it is a Dseries that is what will make me stand out haha no more Bseries.

Thanks..I just find all that 16valve / H crap unsightly on a Dseries cover.as far as the color it is a custom mix of rootbeer and some added metallic.

Thanks everyone..wait until I get the bay fully shaved and painted the custom color we are planning.Combined w/the rootbeer it is just going to be one of a kind and like nothing you've seen before.

Thanks again everyone.I do plan to redo another oem vc soon.Im sure everyone knows of all the little holes in the front of the piece and the back where the sparkplug wire brackets bolt onto it.I find all these holes unsightly and want to shave them as well.

Do what this guy did.. [filled in the low spots on the lego styled vc hahaha] maybe he filled in w/some sort of filler or welded it?.
either way it is a ls vc looks better now.

I'm pretty certain he filled it with metal, because I don't think you could have it dipped in copper if he filled it with filler.

Looks like he cut the top part of the original VC off and had metal bent in the shape he needed. Not very hard to do at all.
Im working on a b2/a6 plug cover for the d series.
OP: That VC looks delicious. Title threw me off until I saw pics.
