rear disc conversion question??

Ok well i took the rear disc and front nuckles and everything off a 1992 integra and put it under my 89 civic sedan. everything bolts on work great the only thing wrong is it make my offset wrong? my wheels sit flush with the out side of my fenders which prevents me from dropping my car where i want it to be (unless i want some crazy camber goin on). now did i use the wrong rear dics conversion and stuff or is that the way its supposed to fit? i also heard the the crx si rear disc could work but im not sure. let me know what you guys ran acrossed thanks.

you should not use the DA front knuckles. I was thinking that the front brakes bolt right on to the civic ones. for the rear disc, you need the integra stuff as it has longer ebrake cables, but all you have to do is change the rear trailing arms. do not put any other integra suspension parts on. just the trailing arms (the biggest ones). since you are doing front brakes, you need to get the larger master cylinder and stuff from the integra as well, and get the 40/40 proportioning valve off it (if it is non-abs) otherwise your rear braking will be as powerful as drums. Wink nice grab though, integras don't come into my junkyard very often.

I went to a junkyard Sunday with 3 DA's! All had the B18A1's in them with tranny's, two of them had mint interiors still (flawless LS seats front and rears, Tan and Grey cloth), and two still had the rear and front brakes all still in tact. Same yard a had an 89 DX hatch with MPFI conversion already done which I'm getting tomorrow. ( Si dizzy, complete manifold (obd-o), resistor box, and PM6, all wired up all ready from injectors to resistor box.) Also found a 90 LX sedan with black carpet still in great shape and dark grey rear seats with headrests still in awesome shape. No tears or stains. Im pretty sure its fold down cuz theres a lock assembly on the rear deck. Im guessing I could get a key made for the lock (off the car) rather cheaply? I can try my best to get some parts off these cars for you guys if anyones interested. Buyer will have to pay shipping as well though. I will be using carpet, rear seats off the sedan and the MPFI stuff, but any of the DA stuff or anything else on the sedan or hatch, lemme know Exclamation

Ummm

I've actually done this whole 4 wheel DA brake swap.....you can absolutely use the front knuckles, it raises the roll center an inconsequential amount because the knuckles are .125" taller then the stock EF/ED ones are, but other then that I had virtually Zero problems doing this. Also if you are doing this swap you want a non-abs DA Brake booster and master cylinder to go with the swap, make SURE it has the 4040 proportioning valve. Theres a whole huge thread on HT about this, check it out.

It should be in the Ef faq thing. Rear disc abs question i think is the title of the thread.

On mine i used everything off of the da knuckles and all but it did push my wheels out to almos t the edge but mine is lowered, not slammed but its got a 1.75 drop on 17" wheels.
