Rant Thread

We all got shit to complain and be angry about. Figured why not have a thread where we can all let it out.

I'll start.  Last Wednesday I hit a Pothole just after midnight and blew my Right steer tire. Cold as F*ck outside and I still have a weakass Doughnut spare so I drug mudflap home for about 6 miles.

Then on Sunday night I'm criusin home on the FWY and my left steer goes flat out of nowhere! So I throw on my spare and have about 35 miles to drive home from there. Tire shop said my valve stem had gotten cut somehow.

The topper came on Tuesday night. Buzzin down the FWY when I hear a loud pop and like a zinging sound. Then the car dies.... Hmmmmm........ get out and pop the hood. Everything looks good except there is no Timing belt. BAH! so $150 tow ride home and a trip to Autozone and the junkyard(my lower timing belt cover got wasted) and I'm back up and running.

Excited to see what tonight's drive home will bring......

Belt snapped, and all your valves were good? Lucky boy.

Yeah the whole trip home I was sweating a bent valve or 16 lol! But from what I have gathered these d15's were designed as non interference motors. Made the 90mi round trip to and from work today with no issues. Running like a champ!
But the scare has convinced me to start saving for my MPFI and Z6 or B-series swap.

I have had 2 fucken flats between almost 2 months time span on good tires, ripped open my oil pan off the freeway merging from fwy to fwy, blown 2 transmission due to crack and oil deprived transmissions. One seized from first and second at a light and had to rev car and start car in third.....almost caught my car on fire with such a burnt clutch....cracked my other transmission while trying to purchase a local part....cracked it 30 miles away and drove on it dry back home and 5th and 4th seized off the last exit home..... I would say my luck sucks penisessss.
