Yesterday, I decided to clean up the tail lights.

So I wetsanded....

After, it looked a little dull...

But I gots the magic!

And after...it needed wax protection!

~Sp33~

That's quite a noticeable difference.
johnboymartin666

it would have been a lot easier to just polish them using a slightly abrasive cutting compund.

Eh, don't have that. I had this lying around. When I get back in town, I'm doing the bumper lights.

This coming week, I'm getting some wheels and suspension. maybe a few other things as well.  Very Happy
BLKEF4DR

WERE DID YOU GET THE VISORS FROM AN HOW MUCH??
88Dark_CivLude

got them from a buddy of mine...but they look like a set I saw on ebay.

i'm deciding between skunk2 and function & form coilovers at the moment...I already have the wheels picked out
EF Sedan Enthusiast

Good stuff Very Happy
hondacivicdx

nice project
JDMric1

A-to-the-J

Bumper Lights will be done later.

Plus, I've got a couple additions for tomorrow  Wink
ed3tsmith

i heard function and form coilovers are good. thinkin about gettin some myself.
EF2dudesocal

i have function and form and they are great coilovers i recomend them.
LXKID88

Ey how do those two twelves sound in the back.
I have two twelves of my own I just havn't put them in yet. Is it bassy I mean the EF is such a small car compared to others with twelves.
EF Sedan Enthusiast

Two decent 12"s in a ported enclosure will rock the sedans world.

yessir. they give whoever is sitting the back seats, a free massage. LoL.

I installed a few things...but I'll snap some pictures later. Oh yes, they're awesome!
jkgonzalez3

lol
A-to-the-J

Sorry, I couldn't get a proper camera, so I used the camera from my phone:

New Windshield to replace the cracked one:

Function & Form Coilovers to replace the 350k stock suspension! Oh, I had to pick up some Rear LCA's as well. The last pair in stock was blue, so I had no choices on color.

Wheels! 15x8 +15 w/ 205/50 tires.

Stepped Lip.

ZERO Full Lock issues!

jkgonzalez3

um, is it me or did you install your lower control arms upside down?
Ef3typeS

Your car looks like  my car used too with those tires. A little monster truck! Smile

I guess so. I called up my friend, and he said they go that way. guess I'll fix them tomorrow or something.
EF Sedan Enthusiast

Looks hard, now all you need is a jetta lip!
A-to-the-J

I was actually thinking of doing the DA lip. We'll see what happens. I want to replace the front seats because the driver side seat doesn't adjust properly, so it looks like I drive with a gangster lean. LoL.
~Sp33~

Im surprised they bolted in that way.

I don't know what kind of repercussions having them like that would cause, but fix it as soon as possible. Besides, if you flip them around the rear will be lower Razz
EF Sedan Enthusiast

I think the jetta lip would look better because of the aggresive look the wheels gives the sedan.  Are you going to make it to Eibach on the 25th?

thats what it looks like to me also.
EF2dudesocal

yeah i agree about the arms. let me guess u had to get them because ur ride is an 88 huh? and u they were the ball point at the end. but its looking pretty good.
LXKID88

Ey is your box for the twelves ported or no?
I'm liking those rims also. Very nice!
88Dark_CivLude

Clean ride man! what  brand are your LCA's?
Mr.ef2sedan

LCA's are generic. The Function & Forms are awesome! even my sister told me the car feels really smooth.

I'm down.

Today, I'm going to paint the trim around the windows and put the visors back on.
Clipse

cool, hopefully I see you there!
EF Sedan Enthusiast

Me too Very Happy
A-to-the-J

I painted my window trim and put the visors back on.

EDIT: I'll be on the hunt for those rear mudguards!
nala619

i was either gonna get dx trim from the junkyard or that as well lol.
A-to-the-J

Lol..it's just temporary, when the car gets painted for real, it's going to get new trim (if dealerships still carry it) or I'll just source some nice, clean ones.

Paint was Krylon Indoor/Outdoor, Satin Black. LoL...I just wet-sanded it with 800....Masked off everything around the trim (took forever) then painted it (took like, 15 minutes).
nala619

oh ahah i see thanks. it looks pretty clean though. i just wanna paint mines becuase it looks ridiculously ugly imo. its white, black, chrome on some parts, fading away basically.
LXKID88

Sounds just like mine! I'm going to do this trim painting as well.
Clipse

I seen you tonight at Tab Tuesday, I was going to introduce myself but then our homie rolled up in his Corolla, my GLI was parked 2 spots to the right of your car.

yeah. i hate it but am dealing w/ it for now. i think i wanna do a white color. idk something to get close to its original look before.
A-to-the-J

I hit the Junk Yard today and picked up a few goodies...

Rear Mud Guards
Broken piece from distributor
Little bezel around the door handle.

And a couple other things I'll post up when I'm done with them...I also fixed the Rear LCA's....and WOW....the rear was DUMPED! with a LOT more room to lower it on the coilover...but it rubbed WAY too much! I fixed it soon after i snapped a couple of pictures...

88Dark_CivLude

Shocked wow and i thought mine was low!  that looks clean with your rim combo!
89civicracer

That thing is dropped!
A-to-the-J

I had to raise it up because of the massive rub:

LXKID88

Your rims are fantastic!
EF Sedan Enthusiast

Nice to meet you.

Nice meeting you too.

Here is my car as it sits now:

I added on the DA Lip. going to mold the end pieces on the lip so it looks better at the ends. I still have to get a new fender and a rear view mirror so I'll be hitting the junk yard next week...I'll be busy until Sunday doing my birthday stuff..LoL...After I do find the fender, I'll be prepping the car for paint...Still undecided on the color...

I was thinking maybe GT-R Silver, like my buddy's car

btw, those wheels are for sale...if you're interested, pm me.

Black seems too common, and super white is a possibility
Clipse

black on an EF is rare, only came black in 91.
