possible distributor/ground issue need some help.

So I got my car back running again after the distributor rotor screw fell out. Some guy looked it over and found that was why she died on me. Well now now on occasion while driving the tach goes haywire and the motor will start to miss. No cel and runs fine otherwise. Anyone have an idea I don't need it getting worse.:/

Confused Tach sounds like a grounding problem....but why would the motor start missing? Confused  I am going to have to think on this one man! Whatever it is should be a simple fix...just have to figure it out though! Is it a slight miss or of hell its missing like a B!tch and im losing power miss? Wink  How bad is it?

Okay so the problem is that when this odd extra wire thing is hooked up it happens, but this odd wire I thought was my alarm is my seatbelts. It's like they are hit wired. So my brother and I figured it out and reattached it and issue came back, I took it off and now I run smooth. No auto belts though. The miss is moderate, slight loss of power accompanied by the tach going nuts

My car had zero ground issues till the guy who worked on it  messed with a ground because it had "starting issues". Last night the cel came on and threw code 20
