i'm not goin all out on audio. i just got a kenwood head unit and kenwood front and rear speakers. not tryin to add unnecessary weight lol.

that was it.. a new and lighter set up is on the way... i dont like lugging the stupid box around.. extra weight just slows me down.

Well not really I had a good headunit in my sedan but blew the front too speakers so for now I just have to sing to myself..
MIGHT get speakers again but doubt Ill be going for much more

I am also not a big fan of large MDF boxes. . not when i was doing a lot of motor work to make the car go faster. .that was like a step backward. . so. . got rid of my (2) 8' subs and (1) 1 0" and amp rack and settled with Polk momo 6.5's around with one 8" sub in a bazooka bottle. . that is enough for me.

im about sounds but i never took any pics of my systems.
the only one i have was on my first one like 2 years ago.
im still debating on what subs im gonna go with im leaning on alpine type r's but ive heard of another brand that will bump louder so...

I put four type R 12"s in a red 90 dx one time. Knocked so hard that the roof flexed and started to ripple. It knocked off all kind of parts and the guy came back and made me take it out  He only let me put one back in 
But as far as weight, sound quality and bass is concerned. I would opt for one 12" Apline type X in a sealed fiberglass box with one of their newer class D amps. In total, the setup wouldn't weight nearly as much as a normal system, but would pound like crazy.

i got 6 inch kenwoods front and 6x9 JBL on the rear and two 12 kicker it hits kinda hard loud enough to turn head 2 cars away with their windows up. without the 12's, 6x9 gives a little bass.

When it comes to a system that is why I have my Bubble Caprice lol
Formally my lil bros. he wrecked it.. now its mind.. I have replaced everything but the oil cooler lines.. gotta wait till I get back to VA where she sits
My sedan will remain stripped in the back.. 4dr two seater lol
