Offsets??

I'm about to order wheels and want to get some ideas of what type of offsets ppl are running. The wheels I'm looking at are 15x8 +20 offset, I know ill be rolling my fender lips to help clear the wheels but I don't want a lot of poke on the wheels so any help would be greatly appreciated...

do you want to tuck tire. if so youll have to run - camber or stock camber with stretched tires. 165-45s or something like that.

I don't mind alittle poke, I just don't want the mexiflush look where the wheel and tire are sticking 3" out of the wheel well

i'd say stick around the 20 - 30 offset and you should be good.
Depending on size (15 or 16) will determine tire size.

I've tried 20 offset on a set of 16x8 with 40 series tires and i needed very little, if any camber work, lowering car more and fender rolling.

I have 30 offset with 16x8 wheels with a 45 tire and just did rear fender roll.. I still have my fender liners in. no camber work done. Car sits fine.

The car is actually sitting a little lower now. This was the ride height i did when i drove 6hrs to North Carolina and the car packed with a bunch of stuff.. Not knowing the roads, i  did not want to bust my oil pan like someone in our caravan did on the way up. Roads in South Carolina SUCKED!

Cant go wrong listening to this guy. His car speaks for itself. I am running 15x8 +36 and may add a 5mm spacer to drop it a little. I rolled/pinched my fenders (i did mine while the car was being prepped for paint so i would have to worry about cracking. Having a shop or someone who has done it a lot roll your fenders is my suggestion. No matter what the paint is going to be damaged. But when someone who knows what they are doing does it. They can keep it minimal and prevent cracking, at least for the time being.

There is no shame in running a 15/16x 7/7.5 either. there is nothing magical about x 8 +. Its all about preference, drive-ability, and vision (by this i mean what kind of car do you want to build and how do you picture it looking).
