Not an EF sedan.. Hope it can still be appreciated!

1970 Toyota Corona Deluxe! Bought it for $1000

When I picked it up. Still on the trailer, in the backyard of the old guy I bought it from.

Got it to my buddy's house.

Found these super rare goodies in the trunk!

The ol' trusty 8R-C. Started on varnished gas, after sitting for a year.

75k or 175k? Either way, its in good shape.

I bled the brakes, only to find it has a bad M/C.

I've narrowed it down to these 4 wheel choices, I think..

Heres my first attempt at waxing the car. The left is the first wax, the right is unwaxed.

Results of the first wax on the car.

I wasn't impressed with the initial wax job, so I stripped it, and put a hard shell carnauba wax on it. Here is the before and after.

Here is how it currently sits, on a set of 77 Celica wheels.

I hope this Japanese Classic can be appreciated by you guys. I'm looking into getting another Ef sedan as soon as possible.

This is sweet man I really like it the front ends and headlights are just so sick. Ive seen some really good bosozuka style ones done slammed out with a aero style front lip and oil cooler hanging outside the front bumper. I like the rim selection I think the first of four pictures would look best imo.

Incredible! Thank you for sharing! That is a beautiful car.

Thanks guys! I'm just stoked on how good of shape it is in for being 43 years old. With it being so rare,  its terribly hard to find parts for. I intend on swapping in a 4age on itb's or a 4agze (supercharged).

Surely there's an American equivalent. It's pretty much just a can of ethanol.

Did a little DIY vinyl work with it last weekend.

Tell me what you guys think.

Bought a roll of red vinyl on Ebay for $2

Found this online, as a base for my stencil.

Stenciled and placed it on the vinyl.

Cut it out and put it on the headlight. Used a soap solution, and a heat gun to get it to form to the headlight.

Then installed the headlight and turned it on to see the final result.

I'm going to fill in the negative space in with some white pinstriping paint to make the red stand out more.
