New Motor BuildWell Im a big fan of all motor so the b16 has got to go. Besides the B17 tranny tops out at a crazy 112mph.

Its taken awhile to get all this stuff together and the only thing I physically have is the Skunk2 IM but it in the mail. Ill start the build in a week or so due to work and stuff. Id love to see 200whp out of this but im sure I wont make more then 195whp if that. Ill post pics while im building it. let me know what you think.

Did you run out of gears or was the engine electronically limited to 112?
I don't think that 200whp is too optimistic, good luck with the build, keep us updated.

No the b17 tranny has Crazy short gears. In 5th at 80 im at alittle over 4k rpms. I dont think that set up would make 200whp either but I think 190whp is reachable with a good tune

good luck with the set up are you going to use it daily? i spent over $10,000 on my b18c motor was rebuild 3 times JE 8 low compression now 9 compression and tranny rebulid 2 times on my second turbo in progress. i did all motor just pings a lot over heats on a hot day. good luck that set up sounds like a 12 second or faster.
