New headlamps

I have been looking at new headlamps for a while now, i would really like to just stay with OEM, but i sure see alot of cheep projectors out there. many sellers but there all the same, cheep looking plastic lens chrome or black.

i picket up some new corner lens and front turn signals both are clear and look like OEM, but are soo new and shiny looking if i put them on the headlamps will look old and wore out, so before i install them i would like to get new headlamps.

i have a HID conversion on the car already and i guess im really just looking for a opinion on the matter. Has anyone found a good looking set of projectors for a 90' sedan? or where maybe would be a good place to find OEM headlamps? the local place wants a lot of money for OEM, money i would rather spend other place's.

Projectors look trashy but that just me. But I always wanted to use a
projector housing with oem glass lens. Idk if it's possible, I think It
would look sick.

A retrofit OEM projector might be crazy awesome. There's a dude on YouTube called sincitycustoms I believe and he makes incredible lights

i was on my way home from getting some dinner and a civic came at me the other way with the Ebay halo black projectors on it, and they didnt look right on it so its glass OEM for sure.

God those look trashy. Idk why anyone purchases them. In our cars they just don't look right.

I know is an old thread but in case someone is still interested here's mine Wink

Retro-fitting a projector inside of the O.E. lens won't work properly. The fluted lens is designed to disperse light, where the projector lens is designed to focus the High Intensity bulb. So putting the projector behind the fluted O.E. lens defeats the purpose and will become a hazard.

^^^Exactly the reason why I looked and looked and looked for these headlights that have the projectors already built in and the clear glass lenses Wink they are 'old school' cus APC is a dead company now I love them but I will be upgrading the projectors lenses or the whole projector soon Wink

Those dont look bad on "your" car, its white and you have the matching corner lens.
demian22

Thanks man Smile but why the "your" if I may know...

Ooooh, I think I have a pic of my buddies crx with the same headlights,  he's crx is black with the clear corners too I'll post it so u can see them on a dark color...

don't mind my daughter lol...

Doesn't look bad. Would like to see some night visibility pictures to see a difference. I may be mistaken but I wanna say I've seen the conversion done to a single-globe headlights?!?
demian22

Single globe? I have some night output pics I'll post it..
demian22

Here ya go...

89ef2

Man that looks good. By single globe I mean like a Edm headlights where the use like a h4 bulb with the high and low beams combined unlike in the America where we have seperate highs and low beams.
demian22

Oh got it! Thanks man yea I like the output but it could be better Wink soon I will be replacing the projector lenses for acura tsx clear lenses to get a better output Wink

it looks nice an focused, the HID i run in my stock lens just shoot blue light every witch way.
demian22

Yea man fluted glass will do that, that's why I went with these headlights. ..
