my tranny problems

so after 1 long month of my baby not seeing daylight (garage kept) i finally got my problems fixed which was taking the tranny out 3 times and putting it back 3 times do to the fact that the car would start and everything but it wouldn't move for my life...1st gear no movement, no stall, 2nd gear all the way through reverse no movement no stall. so i get this weird feeling in my gut telling me that it could be the axles, so i give it a try, mind you i am a rookie at this and this is the first time i have EVER done a tranny job by myself...x3 lol..anyways, so i look a the axles from the tranny and everything looks ok, this is when i decide to pull on the axle and it comes out with a little resistance, i tell myself "that's not supposed to happen" so this is what i do. i take a 2x4 the long way and push it up against the axle boot, and with a hammer i hit the end of the 2x4 a couple times..the axle is now locked in..yes!!! Very Happy . so i repeat the same steps with the driver side axle and it also locks in to place..put the rotor back on the lower control arm of course tighten the axle nut ..all that good fun stuff lol..so i jump in my EF, hoping to god it works now, my heart is beating like a jack rabbit f%$king a drum , i put the key in the ignition, turn the key to the on position the push the clutch in and turn the key...(slow motion heart beat)........she starts...(still slow motion heart beat)....i put her in first...ease off the clutch along with some gas...SHES ALIVE!!!!..thanxs to some of you on this site, with out you my baby would have never been born lol.she still needs some work but its good for a daily now, pix up soon , i plan to drop her this weekend and maybe some new rims..cant wait to get a new camera so i can post my boosted Y8 build..thanx for reading.
