my tails are really messed up....need helpok this wil take a bit to explain so go grab a beer and take a piss b4 you read this...ready? ok lol
well anyway my tail lights are really messed up. when im driving they work...on and bright. now when i turn my left blinker on it works but when i put on the breaks the left tail goes out an the blinker inside goes fast.
when appling the breaks normaly with out the blinker the driver side doesnt light up. the passenger side dims and the amber blinker gets really bright. it even shows that the blinker is lite on the dash.
now when i turn the right blinker on the third break light blinks and the whole tail except the amber part lights up/blinks. if i brake and have the right blinker on the driver side tail blinks with the other blinker...
now i was just wondering if this has happend to anybody b4 and if so how did they fix it? ive looked at fuses and the wires and all seem fine. i just cant think of anything else...plz help

Replace your bulbs and try again.
It is almost like there is a short somewhere for it to go fast. .
I'd replace bulbs first. . .one time mine was blinking fast. . I thought it was cause one was out. .well, they were all working and blinking fast. . it was cause a bulb was about to go. . I replaced them all and everything went back to normal. .
go the cheap route first. .

sounds like a ground problem, i would check your bulbs, and then start checking for a missing ground. Do a voltage drop test on the grounds at each of the lights acting up. If you need to know where the grounds are let me know and i will scan the wiring diagram

besides checking the bulbs i would also check the harness connections for some weird reason i get water in my truck (guessing tail light gasket wore ) well the harness had some water in it. also had some white crust in the light bulb sockets. on the old school accords the rear lights had a relays not sure if the efs have them. good luck.

well i replaced all of the bulbs and it worked for one day. then it blew some fuses so they went out again. im getting some fuses today and replacing them when its not -6 below lol. i also got the rear tail harness from the junk yard and replace some of the wires that are bad.

Cool. . that works!
I had to get the headlight ones from a salvage yard cause the wires went bad also. .I guess it tends to happen on cars that are close to 20 years old. .

Yea, i was going to say go to the Junk yard and find a tail light and get the gasket and use that one. Also if that does not work try
some Silicone on the taillight.

Sounds like a loose ground somewhere to be honest... You may have to add an extra ground to the existing ground wires. I had to do this on a couple of my cars in the past. Its much easier than tracing wires trying to find a break in the line.. Hope that helps.

It's either a loose ground, or the solder has gotton old ,check and see if a ground is bad. either resolder it or replace the plug
