My SH4Thinks its time I moved here.
Most of the pics...
stock springs
40mm drop koenic spring
all a bit wonkey I need to retake the pics.
the springs are not currently installed.
the seat and bucket and steering wheel are also not currently installed.
the dohc head, ZC
ZC intake
(160i) EW intake, will fit my current head.
I bolted my 4 point harness on to the seat, not the way I want it but for now I have no choise.
Plans for now is to fit a 4-1 branch and free flow exhaust and the HKS back box.
Plans for later is to go FI so I will have a 150i with free flow and Go Tech management. And maybe a fuel injector upgrade.
Then I might do dohc turbo or sohc vtec turbo.
Not sure yet....

a lil update...
I took my car for a roadworthy (what we gotta do in this country) so I could get papers and have it transfured into my name.
They could not give it to me because the engine numbers were diffrent. (i should have checked)
So now I have to take the car for police clearance.
The lady who sold me the car cant tell me where she got it done and has no recipt, if the engine is stolen then the fuzz will take my engine out and I will have to push my car home (its a loooong walk)
so for now I am keeping it stock.
Got board so I put this in for fun.
going to make sitting in the bucket much easyer now as I am tall.
And I got more springs

ok...... due to leagal crap I have to get another engine block
So I got a D15B twin carb, I couldest source a D16.
Anyway My current engine is a D15B3 now I have a D15B.
Cool thing is it has a crinkled black tappet cover.
I am going to run my single carb until I get a twin vac dizzy form the UK. so I can run the twin carbs.
This engine is a jap import with low mileage.
Here is how I got it, pretty clean they guy at sa auto parts said I should take the cleanest one. So i did..
The engine pipes are cut and yanked out out the cars.
It also come with some cool jap writing about spark plugs.
I got pretty much all the senors that come on the FI engines. The kuk 4-1 manifold also had to go, I am going to use my stock 4-2-1 honda B153 south Africa one.
twins off and twin intake manifold off.
kuk 4-1 manifold off.
power steering pump....with some jap goo coming out of it.
kuk 4-1 manifold with lamda sensor, cool!
my 160i intake and twin carb intake.
some more pics of the twin carbs..
original keiahin water pump, cool!
some jap oil filter with more cool jap writing.
original Honda cam belt
My mess.
I wish!!
All in all this engine is in very good condition and has no internal rust!
A few missing parts... fly wheel, dizzy and dip stick.

what all do you need for FI because i have alot of spare parts lying around, intake, fuel rail, sorry i messed up all my fuel pressure regulators......resistor box with pigtails, injectors, computer. nothing more than 20 USD (the computer i want that much)
the only thing i dont have is dizzy but your best off getting one new from distributor king.
Anyways, too bad they had to take your engine.....better than it being stolen, cuz they didnt hack it out like a junkyard, but not much better.

you should really get an engine stand, rent or borrow one. And be carefull as it looks like that last bottom end picture apears as if theres a big puddle of oil on the underside of the piston
That bath sure made a big differance, especialy on the oil catch can. looks just about new!

why 150 carb intake is kuk....
top = 150 twin carb intake
middle = 160i intake
bottom = 150 single carb intake
note the size of the 150 single carb intake bore
new imported clutch kit 160i dohc - 150
How my engine bay looks...
Brand new block and tackle

I didnt see a clutch alignment tool with your clutch kit, hope you got one, or have fun putting the trans back on the engine.....i didnt see a pilot bearing eather
That place has alot of engines!!! what kinda fuel pump do those carb cars use? you might have some fun going fuel injection.....
Nice progress, keep it up

nope no clutch alignment tool.. will have to find one.
there is a pilot bearing.... came with clutch plate.. pressure plate and the bearing.
the carbed engines have a mount point on the head for the pump and it runs off a fuel pump cam lobe.

stock rods are fine and dandy, but please dont use stock main bolts or headbolts......arp studs aren't very expensive
And the MSD Digital 6 is not really going to do anything for you, your better off spending that money on something else, otherwise looks good tho.
