hey guys I just found the site and love it. Anyway here she is it's a h22 with a d series si trans using a bisimoto adapterplate and hasport mounts. the car is getting ready for paint now it will be painted white again the stock color. let me know what you guys think. the first page is when I put the motor in first

looking good since the hood doesnt really clear are you gonna cut the hood a little? or get a jdm hood/ zc hood or fiber glass hood etc? i hope that D series tranny can hang with the H series motor.

I cut out the webbing on the back of the hood and pounded a hump in it, it still sits strait still so all I have to do now is smooth it out bondo it and paint it. there are alot of turbo d's out there that are running 400 whp with stock trannysand no problems. In fact bisi says there stonger then b series trans, so I think and hope it will do fine Very Happy

bisi must be right cause on his interviews he said most of the b series hes battling often have tranny issues. My d series lived close to 300,000 miles took a good beating redlined it all the time. power shift etc miss shift 4th gear to 3rd instead of 5th. went thur 4 clutches. so far i broke 3 b series tranny. if you break your d series tranny its easy for you find it and replace it cheaper too .

yeah bisi also said that the guys that have b series engine that are all out drag car have built trannys around the 300whp range. Not thats bad, but when a d can go 400whp + on stock internals thats awsome and yeah they are cheap Cool

sometimes i wish i had a D series tranny easy to come by. my b16 tranny now is going bad i have to drive 4th gear on the fwy and rev at 4,500 at about 65 mph wont go to 5th gear. Bisi is a genius he gotta make something for the b series. would be nice if honda tranny were like the new corvette i was watching TOP GEAR from the stop light the driver left it in 5 gear drove it until red line which hit about 140 mph on one gear.

all right I just got her running again, I justgot done test driving her and it's great I have missed vtec!!!! anyway the engine bay is painted, did my wire tuck and cut in my side markers I will get some pics up shortly I need to get new batteries for my camera

wire tuck thats a lot of time. engine bay sprayed too thats cool sound like a show and race car.

Its looking good, sorry I havnt followed up on your build, but does your hood close with out any cutting?

no, theres just no way to get it close, it sits like 3 inches above where the hood sits. I just took a sledge hammer to my hood and put a huge dent in the hood hahaha anyway I'm going to get another hood and make like a couwl induction hood or something I'm still thinking on what to do with it
