the hood/bonnet is a buddy club item which i actually bought for my crx EE8.so i fitted the headlights and the bonnet just now until my crx is ready for the road.and no it didnt just fit right on it took me 4 hours to get it right.

yeh the jdmy0 boys are great for a laugh.all nutz.

It's much longer and rounder (from a top view) then the regular US front end.

The finished product is great btw, really makes your sedan look sleek.

well it was a thermostat issue so i got that replaced. then the temp gauge was fine but now its doing it again. so i dunno. car runs fine though. finally got all my major issues sorted out. now i just need a few maintenance things done, like an alignment lol

Typical 88-89er resorting to anything to convert people..
Havent actually seen any 88-89s on Irish roads only ever a 87 non ef branded a ballade, like Icarus's sedan but older shape

The rims are nice, but i think i will stay with 14" or 15" rims and tires, i like 205/50/15  but everyone is different that is what it's all
about. Very Happy

By the way how is the weather in Irland,  I play in a pipe band here
in Louisiana i am learning the pipes now but i play the snare drum
until i master the pipes(I love wearning my Kilt) Oh my scottish name is: MCLEAN Very Happy

I really love anything Celtic

Id be more of a 14-15" wheel person too but I do like the wheels on this for some reason..

And weather in Ireland is shite at the minute.. The sedan is jacked up out in the yard and cant work on it since it hasnt stopped pissing rain in ages Mad

Had a couple of Questions about the lights.
Do you have the single bulb headlights like the JDM ones?
Also, how did you get the front parking lights to be so bright? my bulbs are brand new and you can barely tell they are on.

i now have all the parts for my conversion.
4-1 header
full stainless exhaust system
full length cold air intake
spoon ecu
spoon vtec controller
new engine mounts (B16)
walbro 255 fuel pump
fuel pressure regulator
all service parts.
timing belt
timing belt tensioner
cam seals
water pump
spoon iridium plugs
new plug wires
engine flush

quick update,pics to follow.
few new parts to the list.
spoon adjustable cam gears
lightwieght front wings
lightwieght crx vt front bumper
amber front indicator & sidelight lenses

also as of yesterday the running gear is now out of the crx,time to clean,strip and re-build.

with a lot of jiggery pokery and skill.its a crx sir hood fitted on the standard T panel but its only temporary till i fit all the crx front clip.

as for the fueling,walbro 255,its still using the original injectors for now but ive been told that the prelude 2.2 vtec injectors are a possible upgrade to my engine but im not 100% sure,any info on this would be great.

Would a CRX EE8 dashboard fix in a Civic ED2 Sedan?
The B16A1, that I wanna built into my ED2, needs the tachometer.
But the tachometer of a CRX cannot fix in a Sedan!
That's impossible....

How can I clear the problem?
VTEC needs the tachometer, 'cause the rpm-signal *hmm*

Find an LX sedan or any sedan within your year range that has a tach. Problem solved. Unless your in one of those euro countries that sedans are uber rare in. If thats the cause. I sowwy.

Why another Sedan?
I have a ED4, too. But it's very rusty.
ED4 has the same tach like ED3.
And ED3 and ED4 have the same tach like ED2, only the red line is on another position.....

I think your getting the words "tachometer" (the device that counts RPM) and "gauge cluster" mixed up. The gauge cluster is the thing that has the speedo, the tachometer, your fuel tank gauge and your odometer in it.
