My 91 sedanSo on friday night I changed the water pump and timing belt. Today I did a compression check and cylinder 2 was really low. I Don't have keys for the car yet so I can't drive it. Pics will be up soon.

I have been thinking about the motor and I am leaning towards doing a motor swap. The reason is that the motor has around 260,000 miles on it. Now I have to decide what motor swap to do.

My auto shop teacher is going to sell me the motor from a 94 integra with 150 miles on it. The miles are from taking the car in and out of the garage. I hope to get it next monday or tuesday. I am wondering if I need any special motor mounts.

That's awesome! Special no, but you will need new mounts. Check Hasport, they're the best IMO.

I just got the motor and it is not from a 94 but from a 93. It is a B18A.

B series engines into 88-91 chassis will require special mounts... Hasport is pretty much the industry standard. Some re-wiring will also be needed. Does the engine come with transmission? I *think* the 93 Teg had a cable operated transmission...
