Ok everyone my car is getting painted here are a few shots

man that must have took a long time to take apart disconnecting harness too. what color are you going to paint it? looks like a arm and leg paint job.

thats what the shop did,the job was not fininshed when i took that pic, my car needed alot of work   Very Happy

Just got  my full  interior in today, needs some tlc  and a good wash

I also did a fine wet sand and used this great stuff on my lights


Here is how some of them came out




I also put some of that 3m clear protective film on them

I give it a few weeks for it to be done. . then another weekend or week for Rob to install ever thing in/on the car. .  Smile

Nothing really,i got the whole front clip, i just drilled out all the spot welds  and  welded support on. Also to run the one piece headlights you will need to run the jdm fender also, as it is diffrent from usa model,or a good body shop to work with.

your car looks great!  i think jon jon spent more time on your paint than he did mine!   Mad   i'm going to have a talk with him.  your interior is hot!  and it's so clean too.  so when's she going to be put together?  in time for the sedan meet?  and most importantly, what wheels are you going to rock???  inquiring minds would like to know.

Yeah i know i gotta rock the JDM front end. No problem with that. Just worried about things not lining up right and having to spend a shit ton of money to have a body shop do it right.

If you swap from a sedan, and not a hatch, things will line up fine. It was a snap. I was scared of that also, and after i removed the spot welds, there was no turning back. . The swap is a direct bolt up. . no worries. . . Wink

it's a PITA with just a regular drill bit.

nice!! does that koyo radiator bolt on with out modifyin any thing like cutting some metal, or removing the rubber bushings on the lower radiator bracket? does it hit the hood? i always wanted those full size race radiator but didnt fit correctly also didnt want to cut metal.

They are in the same location as the USDM ones. .  
I used a drill bit and chisel to take the spot welds off. . PITA for sure, but worth every ounce of sweat it took. . .

i think out of the whole ef squad i might be the only guy with a spray painted car other than flat, i wish i had money to paint my car shiny... GRR. i love it. i want to get a jdm front too, but ill have to sacrifice all my nice parts for one. like oem hoodbra, kaminari kit, enkei mesh etc Very Happy i will have one soon you will see.

too low for a daily driven car is not that good as long as u dont scratch when u go up ur driveway or speed bumps then its good.

speed bumps help keep the bottom of the car clean by scraping off barnicles and road kill leavings.

i think it's too low when forward motion is impeded by a speed bump and an alternate route must be calculated.  anything higher than that is just not low enough  Wink

Can you do me a favor? I need some wing measurements specifically the distance from mounting stud to mounting stud. Also how many LED bulbs are in the wing. I have a wing a want to confirm if its the same as yours.
