Lowering springs

Ok...... I despratly want to lower my dx.. I have a ebay coilover kit right now in the garage unused but i decided not to use it. I want a Skunk2 complete coilover kit but can't justify spending that much money on a DD. I also don't want to mess around with coilover adjustments.

What are the best lowering springs/shock combo. I was thinking KYB-GR2's for shocks..

Choices for springs

Tien S Tech DROP: FRONT -1.6", REAR -1.4"

Tenzo R

2.25" inches. all around

Skunk2 Lowering Springs

2.5F//2.25R

EIBACH Sportline SPRINGS

F1.7 in //R1.5 in

H&R SPORT/RACE LOWERING SPRINGS

Sport 1.9"/1.8"
RACE 2.25"/2.0"

This is my car before and after I put on the lowering coils. These are ebay coils.

It looks good. I've got some ebay coilovers but I am worried about using them.

Why? These civic's arn't that heavy so they should hold up fine. Cool

looks good man! How much of a drop is on your car and how big are those rims?

Hey man dont worry about using the ebay coil over i used cheap coil over last year and they held up good and last summer i drove hard.
this is what it looked like on 16's.....

ya personally I'm not a big fan of the ebay lowering springs, as the ones I used to own were all the same spring rate, and the ride was just too bouncy. I went back to factory springs with kyb agx shocks and it is stiff enough with those.

I like my Blues with H&R springs Laughing *mhmmmm veryyy nice* My H&R's didnt really lower it though. How much of a drop do you guys have those coilovers set at? I was thinking of only lowering 1.5 inches with S-Techs, but Im reconsidering a little lower for pimping purposes lol Thinking bout the Eibachs which are like 2.25 inches I believe. I will most like do a ZC or B-series swap in the future so 2 inches might be a little low with the added weight of those motors. Any suggestions?

with my b16 swap, I hit my header on stuff all the time and I'm not lowered at all. if I do get around to dropping my ccar again I'm planning on nice coilovers, probably ground control or something. but make sure you get springs with different spring rates front-back.

Hey bro the car ended up about 2 1/2" up front and 3" out back. And the rims are 17" with 205 40 17's. Cool

I have OMNI POWER sleeves, and they are very good, I've had mine for about a year and a half now...no problems. I am slowly converting over to KYB AGX's. right now I have the AGX's in front and GR-2's in back. The GR-2's get the job done, but have no adjustment at all.

I've never driven a car with G.C.'s but they are obviously much more expensive.
Try Skunk2 sleeves.
