Lifting Weights and Crossfit Fitness

Im into the fitness world and lift weights about 4 days a week and use 2 days for crossfit/cardio training and sundays for rest days. I was wondering if there is anyone else on this site that likes lifting and crossfit training to and if so maybe you can share techniques or meal plans that you like to use? I have information meal plans muscle confusion plans that ive wrote up for myself I would be also willing to share if anyone is interested. Even if you aren't much into lifting and would like to start I would like to hear your goals that you set for yourself and what you would like to accomplish.

220 LBS starting
down to 214 now

I eat chicken and brown rice
oranges, bananas
oatmeal in the morning with no sugar
No carbs
and I only consume about 1400 calories a day.
I have almost no off days now and went from a small 300 on leg press to 505 inverted press in 3 weeks
265 on bench and cardio for about an hr. I do a lot of racket ball for fun and that keeps my heart rate up tremendously.
I also take the Alpha Male stack from SHREDZ.
Protein shakes and my fish oils with my aminos evry
morning.#TRaINHARD!!!

Been doing this for a month so far and then I got bronchitis. so my diet and training got super screwed over but im going back to it  Monday!!

Excellent sounds like your on a good path and that's a good bench damn I would take about 70 pounds off of that myself lol. You made awesome gains on the legs about how many times are you hitting the gym a week? I was curious what is the Alpha Male stack is that a preworkout you use or some sort of shredding pill(appetite suppressant)? Good stuff though man keep up the great work train hard and make those gains. Im currently finishing up my bulking stage the end of april ive been eating TONS and drinking mass gainer like it's going out of style and im still having a hard time gaining the mass I need sense my metabolism moves so fast. But come May it's time to shred for summer regardless the outcome. I got a couple awesome recipes for fruit spinach shakes(cant even taste the spinach) protein cookies and all sorts of good stuff let me know if you want a couple.

Alpha male stack is a vitamin/preworkout/shredder/testosterone booster. Ive been getting crazy results off of it. Any my wife noticed a boost in sex drive lol.

Yea ill have to check that out but damn dude without an off day I would move like old people lol. Ah ok I was kind of wondering if it was a testy booster I stay away from those they can really mess you up but the results like you said are insane which is why so many people like to use them, just be careful man my aunts brother  used to pro body build and he used boosters and they made him all depressed. You should go make a profile on bodybuilding.com it's a great source. What other supplements are you currently taking im just curious if you don't mind me asking.

Creatine(only when I bulk I cycle on it usually 6 months on 6 months off)

wow this makes me feel out of shape, although I have legs of steel. I can do a 655lb leg press, yet I cant run worth a shit! LOL Cool  Laughing  Rolling Eyes

I have been putting on some pounds and would like to stop the process. But I know it can be complicated and don't know where to start :/. I used to be super thin and I liked it.

Hey man no worries we all have to start somewhere. What was always told to me and it really kept me motivated cause it makes perfect sense is all the ripped guys you see once were small or fat themselves so it just shows anything is possible to achieve with your body. That is a good leg press though lol nice job man

It seems really complicated but it's not just start off simple and work your way up. I got some simple diet and workout plans that ive had good results with let me know if you want me to throw you in the right direction.

You dont have to be super thin to be athletic or happy, remember that. I am like 15 pounds overweight but Im still a good athlete. So dont worry about being skinny, youll get there! Very Happy

Eat healthy for the most part but remember to add those cheat days in as well so you can stay sane and still enjoy good food.

Well I'm 216 and 6'4" so I'm not a chub, I just want to healthier and by extension look better naked ;D lol.

Cocoa, Oatmeal, PB, Protein Cookies

2 TB brown sugar
1/3 C. 1% milk
3/4 C. water
1 1/2 tsp. butter
3 TB unsweetened cocoa
1/4 tsp. sea salt
Stevia to taste ( I add stevia until the mixture tastes delightfully sweet)
Combine above ingredients in a medium saucepan, boil 1 min, stirring constantly.

Remove pan from heat and add (stirring well after each ingredient):
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
4 scoops chocolate protein powder
(I used From the Makers of Muscle Milk, 100% whey protein, 140 calories and 27 g of protein per scoop)
1/4 C. Adam's natural peanut putter, crunchy
2 TB flax seed meal (whole ground)
2 C. quick cooking oatmeal

Form dough into 16 small cookies or bars. Cool on waxed paper. Store in airtight container in fridge.

Sodium: 107 mg
Potassium: 86.6 mg
Total Carbs: 11.6 g

Sugar: 3.2 g
Protein: 9.3 g

You have a good build to lift with being low 200's and over 6'2" start out with some cardio like jogging at night and maybe lift for an hour during the day with low weight and high reps that's my recommendation but I always encourage people to do there own research on fitness as well so they can better suit there goals to in turn accomplish them. I laughed at the naked part though haha

Im 185lbs and 5'7 tall but I am built really broad, so not really a chub either. Razz  and adding some items to the shopping list! Cool  Cool

Anybody got a workout plan for resistance bands? I had a 80 pound set given to me but dont know many exercises to do with it! Shocked
