Well I'm glad you found us. I will be honest and say that the style of your sedan is not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, some nice craftmanship is always appreciated. However, your sedan needs some work if you're going to continue in this direction. What are your plans.

Non taken everyone has his own style.(1) First i must make sure
all internal working parts of my motor is fine tune: This includes the starter, which i will be getting fixed tomorrow, because the mech i was using put the starter on which was on when the other motor
went bad the mount on the starter is broken and only being held with two bolts, so the starter place here in Shreveport Louisiana
will be taken off the old bracket and getting me a new one(around
$84.00) Ok next midas found out that the mech put on the old motor mounts which the rubber is split on them, Two weeks latter
Replace motor mounts.($130.00) Plus $100.00 for work from the guys i found at SI MOTORSPORTS. i will give them a try for the motor mounts, if they do good then we will move to the next project. They will charge me $65.00 front $42.00 Rear. (THIS IS PHASE 1) Then i will
purchase a blower motor and a console off of e-bay get that installed and also the air vent too.(phase 2) From there i plan on buying Toicko struts and getting them installed Along with a Neusport
rear swaybar Oh did i say also a strut brace for the top. Then from there Rotors and brake pads( I will go with Hawk pads and Powerslot rotors) From there i will get rims and tires( Tires khumo's
15" Rims it's a choice between I.C.W'S and Buddy clubs then put
Silicone hoses on every hose i can find, and silicone wires. Then the next big step(phase 3 is to buy a multi injector system) Since i have a duel now i want to go four. Phase 4 is the interior buying the seats from a member of this form, then Body work, and Sound
system will be the last i do.I WILL Paint it yellow and light blue
Mabey with some Asian stuff on it (i LOVE asian things, and Girls)
This is just a few things i have in mind, will keep you posted with
whats happening and also with picks, But it's not happening Overnight Please have faith Oh buy the way i was talking to the mech at work(Desiel ) Dania Showed me that the doors were shaved buy a rookie painter, because Daina stated "There needed to be a metal plate put under where he shaved the doors. this would have keep it from running and looking like it does now".
So i don't know if i will be using this guy again for my body work or paint job when the time comes. See i am learning
Oh on the back window i thought i would put this logo over to the right over the speaker and blow it up just a little

i like the rear mugen style bumper ( lets all the air flow out ) but the wing doesnt work at until you hit 110mph. do you have side skirts on? post a pic of the sides. if you're from LA area i got a VIS mugen style crx bumper with mesh for $100.

Mabey around July or Aug i want to change my duel injection system with a multi system, That gives me time to do other things
and find the wiring harness, and Ecu i will need. I just bought this
motor it's got 40,000 miles on it as of 28th of last month. this is when i got my car back from the mech i was using. Also i will go with a short ram intake Mabey K&H. Or injen Every body i know has AEM but they say it dosent make much of a difference.
Ok i just put some 14" rims on there to get it rolling, But i will latter
be getting 15" Mabey I.C.W'S OR Buddy Club? And of course KUHMO TIRES 205/50/15 OH I LIVE IN SHREVEPORT LOUISIANA
Right now i am on e-bay bidding on that middle air vent/with clock

|
You mean AEM?
No air intake will really make any noticeable difference. Some make the intake louder which usually gives the perception of being faster.
Good luck on the build.

congrats on the bid. i think a lot of people got AEM intakes cause of the amount of magazine paid to advertise it saying it has the highest horse power compared to other intakes. besides they are street legal. there are other company's that sell it cheaper injen, DC, K&N, met a person who got a ticket with Fujita intake i think thats how you spell it well this guy told the cop its street legal. but its not carb accepted. so he took it to the referee and ref said its not legal in california. so he call Fujita they said its street legal but not carb'd so guy had to put it back to stock. im using a DA intake tube with a K&n elbow with intake cone filter. stock tubes run cooler like the comptech for a DC.

here in Louisiana the state law states: No person shall modify the
exhaust system in a manner which will amplify or increase the noise emitted by the motor of such vehicle above that emitted by the muffler orignally installed on the vehicle this is the only rule in the Louisiana law book dealing with exhaust systems. But were looking at the intake right? If so then i can put a short air intake on.
I will be calling injen to ask them about the carb rule, if not I guess
i will go with A.E.M Ok i got in touch with injen and heres the info
. Injen Technology submits all of our air intake systems for CARB exemption approval (California Air Resource Board). All of our air intake systems are either certified by CARB or have been submitted for CARB exemption. Considering California has some of the toughest emission laws in the country, CARB approval has been accepted as legal by other states. Each of these kits includes a high temperature decal with the CARB exempt OEO number. This decal identifies approved aftermarket add on products from non-approved products. As long as you have the approved decal you shouldn't have any problems with vehicle inspections. You can visit our Website www.injen.com and click on CARB EO listings to determine Jerry from injen said "you should gain 5-7 hp" so that will
do for me for now. I guess that's why i love driving on the freeway
on a cold night around 60mph, it runs better.

I doubt you have the carb rule. You could buy any intake that you like

meh....an intake is an intake, weather it be AEM or another company..
Im rocking a random intake tube and filter, and it works completely fine. I thought about buying a password jdm whale penis, but i dont think so.....
the aem intake was to small for my throttle body anways ha, i couldnt find a couple that would fit.
But anyways, just buy a generic intake tube, and filter, it will work just as good for you.......unless you do have emissions, i didnt read that, so i may just be posting this for no reason ha

I agree that the tube is pointless (unless you're building a serious motor) so get something off ebay and then buy a K&N filter from Advanced Auto, Autozone or Pepboys.
|
EvanFullwood
|
yep yep, im rocking a no name 3 inch...i think its 3 inch, ha....prob bigger.....tube from somewhere, and it works perfect

Well that's two items: (1) Airvent/wclock, (2) Noname Short air intake Now tomorrow i will be getting my starter fix, paying car insurance, and sending off a money order to get my items. then once there installed you guys get Photos.
And this one
