Jdmcarboy...J's racing style lip

Question?

Jdm carboy has a j's racing style lip, my question is if it will fit the sedan. I know that if it is for a specific front end it will work but i have no idea how to know that. I have a picture from the honda-tech ef sedan squad thread where a guy has this style lip its on a dark gray sedan like the one in the banner at a meet.

anyone know what im talking about or if this isnt the right one any idea where i can get one from??

(i dont know how to post pics or i would)

i had the same question as you. yeah jdmcarboy has them they are good lips he has one on his wagovan and it looks pretty sick. and yes they would fit but the guys told me with the right screws where they belong. check out my link they posted some pics of the 90-91 bumpers with lips i hope it works for you. and yeah i do recomend jdmcarboy he is a good friend of mine and he has reasonable prices.

i would recomend the one thats flexible because that way u can make it fit cause the carbon one or even the fiberglass one would break ill see if there is any chance that u can fit it on ur 88 bumper.
MattyJ

where do you get the one thats flexible??

Will this one work it is flexible but.... it has that little notch on the front or lip that sticks up and i was under the impression that it wouldn't work for the ef sedan front bumper but only the other style for the "other style front end would work...

See i was told there were two different style hatch front ends i don't know the specific names for them but one of them is similar to the sedan front and the other is not... the chagespeed lip is not for the front end that is compatible with the sedan... at least so I'm told

(if anyone knows anything about this plzz shed some light if I'm cracked out tell me if not share the wealth of knowledge plzz)

that one should work. its flexible. or else some dude told me there is a liquid that make them flexible

Yes it will work, if you have questions call the company and ask
ask all questions and see if it will work, but i am sure it will.Sometimes you take what everyone is saying and weight it out
but the final answer is yours. It's like life you got two roads(right,
and wrong) Keep checking on e-bay sights go and put your year in
example :1991 HONDA CIVIC DX 1.5L 4 DOOR fender kit. and see
what comes up.Anyway it should work. But call the company and ask Questions and go from there. Smile

Matty if it dosen't come from this form it might not be true, most guys here as i am finding out has already owned two to three sedans and fixed them up all types of ways.Ive never heard of any
liquid to make them flexable.Check your sources make sure they
have knowledge ask them to prove it,buy showing you what they
have done to there car.But if you have questions ask the guys here
on the form first, you will get a good answer ok?

well about that flexible liquid. some guy told me about it because he has a spoon lip on his sedan and its not long enough and he told me he put this thing to make it flex but i might be wrong. for my sedan i have a stock DA lip. that one will fit but at the ends it will fit long so u have to cut that. but good luck on that lip i want to do that to my sedan but im affraid ill mess it up.

If that's your first mind go with it (Don't do it)

The shapes are different. The EF9 front end is much more round. If you have the patience then it is probably worth getting it to work.

Just be aware it won't be as plug and play as you might be expecting it to be.
