Im back...Whats up fellow sedan lovers,About 6 months ago i was a frequent user here but after i got married i had some other priorities so i had to take some time off but im back. I never did the intro so i figured id give it a shot. Car: 1988 Civic Sedan (Blade silver), Gray interior Mods: d16y8 swap, Auto to manny swap, em1 wheels, amber corners, bb4 front seats, power mirrors (not wired up yet :-/), Clock, dc arm rest Future plans: Axis og racer x's, Full paint (Respray), Function & Form full coilovers, redo front and rear seats, paint interior panels black, wrap the pillars; headliner; door panel inserts; visors in some sick fabric, new carpet ... ect... and when the cosmetics are all said and done a beastie y8 turbo build WTB: New Front fenders...any ideas or does anyone have any with no dents for sale, Gray glove box ... if i think of anything else ill post else where ILL GET PICS UP AS SOON AS FIGURE OUT HOW...HELP ME

Update....
Ksport: full coilovers / and rear LCA's are in transit. I also took my em1 wheels painted the inner spoke orange and polished the surface. They will be wrapped in 205/50/15 Nitto Neogen tires As soon as all the items are here and installed i have a buddy thats going to take some pics and post them. mmm.....Im excited

updateGot some stuff in....
Because it was a 88 i had to do the 89-91 lcas and 89-91 coilovers because it was hard to find the right kind of rear struts for my car. Also polished up the em1 wheels and added a little color...

Thanks man yeah thats the factory pinstripe ive debated keeping it or not when the car gets repainted.
I searched for ksports for 89-91 civic and found a good deal for them they ended up being 712.50 shipped... I got them through this website - www.wesellcarparts.com that was the cheapest i found them for other places wanted 800 or more. Side note: I've officially started saving for a new front end and if I'm going to spend the money I'm just going to try to get a jdm front because 1 pice headlights are the bomb even though i like 88-89 bumper better i still love the jdm front end. We will see what happens... mattyj |

its been a long time since ive been on here figured i would update...a while back my subframe cracked right next to the driver side control arm. It was the weirdest thing no one i talked to had ever seen anything like it. So i got one off of a crx along with a manual steering rack for 50 bucks. It took about 12 hrs of work from tear down to putting everything new back in and now everything is good. The car drives better than it did when I bought it. Surprising what will happen when you use a functioning steering rack instead of a non functional power steering rack. Still saving for that JDM front end and its already scheduled for a fresh coat of blade silver in the summer. | ||||
