idle problem?wsup fellahs. so for the past week or so when i start my car it would just immediately shut off. could this be an idle problem? quick idle adjustment or tune up of some kind?

Does it idle at all, like sit there and purge a little, or drop in RPMs? or just.....instantly start, then shut off

it just instantly shuts off. id turn the key & it starts then dies. i have to give it some gas in order for the car to stay on.

mm okay, what would i have to check once i look at the TPS?

pull your tps, and see if you can get a good one..maybe borrow one from a friend, and put it on there. If it starts up and idles fine, then that would be your problem.
Uhh lets see......Check your IACV as well.. Or even adjust your Idle, give everything a try...Thats all i can think of right now ha

hmm so i took a look inside the hood today. didnt do anything but tighten the clamp on my intake cause it was loose. went out for a bit and the car started fine. i dont think i fixed the problem but will find out tomorrow morning.
