I have a leak in my trunk. need help.i have a leak in my trunk and most of the time when it rains i have water in my trunk about 2 " deep by where i keep the spare tire. I think the leak is coming in by the tail lights. my trunk is starting to make my EF smell like mildew i need help guys what should i do??has this ever happened to you before and how did you fix it? gasket from the tail lights. .
Replace those. . that is a common honda issue. .

where the fuck do you get them from Honda dosnt have them no more, and I can find foam that is thick enough to replace it.... and if I do the sheet isnt big enough

If the tail lights arnt gone, then the gaskets might aswell turn to dust.. cause I have never found a decent on in the yard |

i believe the word around the water cooler is that majestic site just list the stuff online but none in stock for much of the parts on their cause they have been discontinued. | ||

I have went to alot of Honda dealers and they tell me that the part is discontinued

thanx alot guys...so i need new gaskets for my tail lights.. now.. do you know any sites that i can get them from and my red tail light lense is cracked also... can i get that replaced? and if so, what site can i get that from? | ||

Well, i don't know if there pulling my chain, but i just spoke to honda and they said there still making them. all i had to do is order them and i should get them in a couple of days. So i'm ordering them right now and if I do receive them i would suggest everyone buy a pair. Who knows how long they'll last.........

your truck is going to go to shit now that its had that water sitting in it. I hate my trunk it gets new rust spots like every month and its a pain. keep it dry as the sahara!! | ||

I keep my car under a cover.. and in FL it was under a car port.. The only time it gets water in the trunk is when I go to work.. and it rains, or when I go anywhere when it rains..
Back to the Topic.. I went to a Honda Dealership down town and bam they had some, so I got a set for my 88 and the 91

i just got mine yesterday from the dealer. I guess that settles the rumor about the tail light gaskets. I figured they would have them though, since it's a gasket and they don't stop making gaskets to my knowledge...

the gaskets were like $25 for the set shipped, but since i'm near the dealer, i called the dealer up and gave them the order number and told them to hold them. It ended up costing me around $13 bucks.... | ||

damm steal deal whats the part number if i may ask? i hope kolbe honda can get it they told me parts for 10 year plus car are hard to get. like HOP center console arm rest, oem cup holders etc | ||
