Hood Dampers on an EF. .

Ok, so i have seen the Tein Hood dampers on ef's before. What is needed to do this? Do you need to rig something, or are there any specific hood dampers for the EF? I think i heard that PWJDM has them? Any one rocking these things. . . ?

I just got them for my DC5 and now i want them on my EF2. . .

They are freaking cool as shit!

They can hold in this position. .

Mine for the EF should be coming in on Monday.
So, i will try to install them after work. .

jkgonzalez3

never mind i found the password install i just made me a set for free lol easiest mod i have ever done.
89civicracer

OK, they came in. . This was the easiest thing to install. I think in total it took me 20 minutes. . 10 on each side. . Once they were in, I let the hood prop thing down and let them stand. They looks sharp. .
I will post pics tomorrow cause it is dark outside now. .

These things are originally for the EF HB or CRX. . they work fine with the sedan with no issues and are a perfect fit. . . .Also, they are adjustable to lift up a CF hood or the heavy ass JDM hood. The part that connects to the hood have a cut out to fit nicely with the contours of the  latch. . hard to explain, but the fit is perfect.

that's awesome, I like the fact that on my vw I don't even need to lift the hood, all I do is finger up on the latch and pull up a tad, and it will open on its own and I want that for my 4 door as well!
Mr.ef2sedan

I got to get some of these  Very Happy

That is what happens now, you just unlatch it after you pop the hood, and lift it for a split second, the dampers do the rest. .

HAHAHA They have my seal of approval. . . .
Hopefully they will last, i have know these dampers to go out on old z280's and stuff. . .We'll see. . .
