Hiya from Longview

I own an '89 Civic DX which just recently had a 1.6L Si put in.  I got my car about 10 years ago because I was driving to PDX everyday for work.  My B/F and I have been together for about a year now and he's finally helping me get my car looking like I think it should.  I'm about the only 4dr in my area that  isn't totally stock.  It's a long process but it's coming along slowly.

This is how she started.

This is how she looks now

She's a bit frankensteined because someone slid into her during our Christmas snow while she was parked at my B/F's Mom's house.  And yes, my B/F got a little cut happy when putting in the fog lights.  This is what I get for not doing it myself, I guess.  Oh well, I needed a new bumper anyways.

Thanks guys.  Of course if you ask my Boyfriend he'll say it's his car even though I'm the one that bought it and pays for everything, lol.  Of course he won't be getting to drive it much anymore since he just threw a rod through the block.  The coils I think he said came off his old hatch that he sold a while back to a friend who gave them back to him.  It's supposed to be adjustable but we took out the adjusters cause they kept rattling.

Well I went and got another sedan today.  This one just needs a fuel pump and a new head.  We're gonna take the head off of the red one since my b/f threw a rod through the block.  Plus the new one even came with another engine in the trunk.  This one doesn't have a head at all on it but the guy that we bought it from is gonna get us a good deal on one and even throw in a head gasket.  Then It's pretty much just down to body work and getting a couple new pieces.  The gold one is gonna be my daily driver and the red one is gonna end up being the built one.  Here are just a few pics.
From the front.

The side.  It even came with extra front seats from a Prelude.

The back.  Needs a new tailight and the middle piece.  I'm hopeing I can find a black one.  I think with a little work the dent in the trunk will come out just fine.  The kid we got it from said it looked much worse when he got it.

This dent is going to be a pain since it's not as easy to get to to smooth out.

The wheels from the red one are going on here soon.

It pretty much just needs a new hood and filler pieces.  Maybe a new bumper, but for sure at least repaint it.  Luckily the hood still latches.

All ready to go home.

Other than the obvious damage, everything else is just little dings and scratches.  Looks like someone used it as a target for their bb gun.  I also have to figure out why the power windows don't work.  The kid said it was the wiring in the doors.  But then again he didn't even know what dpi was, lol.

looks sweet cant wait to see this build keep us updated on the progress

Looks like the frame you bolt the headlights too has been bent, it may be a bit of a mission to get another hood to fit. There's alot of work there, but once that front end is sorted out it'll be a decent looking car!

Looks as though you have ALOT of work ahead of you. Thats the fun part though seeing the car slowly come together.
