Thanks for the Reply.
How do you guys know how to gauge the size of tires needed?
whoa its len 2

How low are you and what kind of ride comfort and handling is more important to you?

Well i bought my car a couple of weeks ago and it had some really ugly rims on it, so i need to get some new ones in order to lower it because the rims on it now will not fit with a drop. I'm looking to drop it about 4inches and have it set up for handling.

Anything lower than 3 inches and you're pretty much tucking tire and all hopes for better handling is out the window. Laughing

Anyway, for a lower drop with a finger gap or less I'd suggest the 185/45. These would give you the stretch you need to clear your fenders and avoid rubbing.

For a higher stance of a finger or more you can go 195/50 or 205/50. The higher stance gives you room to take advantage of a bigger tire. More contact patch equals better handling, of course this is also depending on the quality of tires and suspension you are running as well.

Yeah then I'm going to be forgetting the handling part.  Very Happy

Yea I'm going to go with the 185/45!

Suspension wise I'm going to be running
Skunk2 coil-overs
Skunk2 lower control arms
Skunk2 lower arm bar
Skunk2 front camber kit

Do you have and suggestions i should do instead with the suspension then what i have planned?

I'm running the 195 50  on my 15 x 6.5  bbs rs and I'm tucking half tire with rolled front and rear fenders

That's the tire i was wanting to go with, still debating though.

I'm not a fan of Skunk2 suspension parts but I do like their camber kits. I would only get LCA's if your stock bushings are toast. And I wouldn't bother with  the lower arm bar since it does absolutely nothing for your setup.

As for coilover suggestions, a lot of people riding dumped have no complaints with FF coilovers.

With 15x6.5 35 offset Buddyclub wheels and 195/50 tires you'll rub the fronts when turning. You can roll the fenders, practice 3 point turns, go with 185/45, or all of the above.  Laughing
