thank you for the positive answers!
I'm thinking about a swap in my ED2.
I have two engines in my garage, I can swap in it.
D16A6 (109 hp) and D16Z2 (110 hp).
But if I can get a D16Z5 (124 hp), why not?
Or should I search for an B16A1?
But remember: The ED2 is in my case with automatic transmission!
I have to completely swap it into a M/T car, if I want to place an B16 engine in it

The "Church", where I took the photo in front of, is the Cologne Cathedral. It's one of the UNESCO World Heritages.
Look here for more infos: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cologne_Cathedral
Side-indicators (in the fenders) where here in Germany original. And as I became that Side-markers with indicator in it, I want to clean them original indicators in the fenders
The original indicators lay in the basement - but I don't have no harness for them, 'cause I needed them for the "new" indicators.
But, that's cool: The socket of the indicator (fender) is the same, like the indicator (side-marker)
I hope you understand all parts of that, what I'm writing here?

Nice pictures, i like the one with the ladder on it!

Mattes

The one with the ladder I like, too!
It's in front of the Berlin wall.
My sister was moved from Cologne to Berlin, some year's ago
The lip on my ED2 I just had a few month's mounted - 'til the winter came and it broke in to much snow.
And then anytime I don't have lust on it...
Here you can buy it: http://www.bms-racing.de/product_...a-Civic-Typ-EC-ED-Bj--88--91.html

Cool. That's quite an alternative to the popular lips like J's racing.

Hey! I found a nice car to swap me ED2 Sedan
'cause my D14A1 is broken I searched for alternatives.
First I thought, that a D16Z2 (110 hp, SOHC) can be very good.
But then I thought about it....
then I played with my thoughts.... D16Z5? Much nicer!
124 hp, DOHC
But now I found a little crashed CRX EE8 with B16A1 within!
The engine is in a good condition! I has much kilometres, but that's egally!
Here some data:
-gearbox and driveshaft on passengers site are new
-H&R springs 35mm built in
-strutbar, front above
-seats are in good condition
-frontlamps, frontbumper and the cooler are broken
-engine is garage-checked 'til 160000 km
The owner want to have 1300 Euros. Now I proceed with him.
On wednesday eventually I drive to the place, where the CRX stand.
Then more infos
Here the two pictures, I have:

wow your EF is amazing! and keep us updated on that sedan engine swap looks like it will be a beast when your done
|
Mattes

thank you, 88_darkcivlude and EF Sedan Enthusiast!
Please note, that we have in Germany no EF's!
The sedans in Germany and the rest of Europe are typed
ED2, ED3 and ED4.
And in the Alps there was sold the 4WDed EE5
Here some specs:
ED2 - D14A1 - 1.4l double carburetor, 90 hp, no catalytic converter
ED3 - D15B2 - 1.5l DPI, 90 hp
ED4 - D16A6 and D16Z2 - 1.6l MPI, 109 and 110 hp
EE5 - D16A6 and D16Z2 - 1.6l MPI, 109 and 110 hp, 4WD
You would call the ED4 "Si". We call it just "1.6i"
The ED2 and ED3 are called "GL" or "DX"
So, now back to topic.
I hope in April I can drive my ED2, again
ED7 is cool. But a sedan is in Germany very, very rare!
I envy you around your meetings with such many sedans like them at Ricky and Ronnies!
I've never seen so much sedans on one place, before!!!
Very cool!
|
~Sp33~
|
Goodluck with that CRX, i hope everything works out well for you.
|
C-Rex
|
Really cool man.. All the D14s are getting B16 swaps now
And for the BHP fiogures you gave my D14 made 96.9bhp
|
~Sp33~
|
@C-rex, that can't be right. The 1.5L twin carb was 96hp (72kw). I'm pretty sure the 1.4 was 90hp.
|
Mattes
|
hmm, the owner want's to have 1300 Euros. The price is fix... it don't matter, cause the price is very good, yet.
Tomorrow I'll get more pictures - I hope so
|
Type-S EF

if you do. sell me the spoiler!!!
Nice find! it would be nice under the hood of your sedan, dont forget about the front brakes from the CRX and if its got rear disc take them too.

Nice find! ED2 sedan with B16A1... nice
In your listing of EDM sedan you've forgot the ED4 with D16A7

That's correct: I forgot!
But I saw only one of these very rare ED4 with D16A7 enginge and w/o catalytic converter.
This ED4 was never available in Germany.
I only saw one from Belgium...

I know seems a bit high but got it on a dyno dynamics RR there a few months ago the sheet is on my project thread
|
~Sp33~

Im just talking about factory specs. I reckon they're more reputable then a dyno sheet.
